  1. And what is still being missed is the Bills could have offered the same money and Byrd leave. I am trying to figure out why Bills fans can't get the fact he didn't want to be here?
  2. I think he said F it since they got rid of all his WR's. I also think their GM is a freaking moron and wants to get rid of Newton and is setting him up for failure. Don't be shocked when Newton has 'setbacks' in his recovery keeping him out half the season.
  3. Trade down is my choice, the draft is way too deep this year. Ebron bothers me now because of who he is represented by.
  4. If we needed a LEFT tackle yes. But We need a Right tackle. Those can be found later in the draft and what Is great is THIS YEAR, the draft is so dang deep we can find a quality RT in the 3rd without a lot of difficulty
  5. Long story short, Both should do a damn good job for us and we upgraded the team by signing both.
  6. Agreed good sir! Man Woods, Evans and Goodwin....Whew! AND if we could take an impact TE... John we signed our LG we won't be taking one in the first 3 rounds. WR, TE, OT then odds are defense will be the order of the day in this draft. But again its just my opinion which = less than 2 Cents :-)
  7. Dear lord we still on this subject? The Bills SUCK. No way around it...they suck. Until they don't suck we will not get any positive coverage. Each damn year ESPN, NFLN etc tries to give us some love, this team lays a royal egg. Hell I can't blame them. Oakland, Buffalo, Cleveland, Jacksonville all just suck. Oakland is Oakland so they will get press no matter what
  8. We just signed our new starting LG, address RT in the 3rd round of the Draft. But the best OL in the world doesn't matter if the QB can't get it working between his ears
  9. Been there, seen it.... http://www.pro-footb...ms/nwe/1991.htm 10 overall losses that is
  10. Ok now we are talking! I agree on trading Stevie. I Feel woods will be better than Stevie starting this year, the guy works his ass off and was a better pure talent coming out. We add a big, fast, strong WR opposite him and we are now in Business. If we can upgrade TE as well...
  11. Alphadog, again.... drop the one season high ankle sprain stuff. He pulls himself out of games, he is hurt in other games and the reality is CJ spiller is not, never has been and never will be an every down back. I like the guy too, but it is what it is. But I can see you are going to Champion him to be what he isn't until the cows come home so there is no more reason to discuss it. This team needs to draft a bigger, every down back and hopefully its in this draft and we can start trying to make the switch to a more traditional offense
  12. There is proof, he gets injured, he gets tired, he pulls himself out of games. We need a guy to carry the rock about 270-315x per season and he isn't it. He has proven he isn't the guy. Now I get you love CJ, but the reality is he isn't that guy. You are basing your entire argument on off every once in a while he can inflate his stats with long runs when the proof is there he has major issues reading defenses and blocks. BEFORE hurt the guy wasn't as effective and looked lost to be honest. You are also basing your entire argument off ONE season, one in which sure he had a 6.0 average, BUT didn't have more than 207 carries. Whereas his first full season where he was in 16 games he had 107. This year he had 300 less yards on just 5 less carries than his top year. Bottom line he is a percy harvin type player that has his role on a team, split him out and get him in space, let him return kicks and watch this guy go off In all fairness I am one of the harshest on EJ but I have to disagree my friend he had some really solid throws. Was he inconsistent.... yeah. But lets get a good running game going, lets not play from behind as much, upgrade TE, WR and RT now that we have worked on LG and lets see how he does. If after an entire offseason of practice, and a full season in 2014 lets see where he is at that point. I will say another injury or so to his knees then that shows there is a major issue there and we might want to go ahead and draft a QB next year.
  13. As is the fact CJ can't either. Facts are we need an every down back and it isn't on this roster unless Dixon can fill the role. I lean TE, then WR then LT. And I say that because its believed by pretty much all experts you can get a starting RIGHT tackle (which is what we need) in the 3rd. But it depends on what TE and what WR are there between the two. I am not thrilled the top TE has hired 'Cash money' or whoever the hell that group is to manage him. I can see in 5 years the guy splitting for the Cash money instead of giving us any discount at all.
  14. I don't get where you say people crap on him, I just say he is what he is and don't drink the Koolaid and make him into more than he is. He is a specialist back, a guy you put into space NOT a 20+ carry per game guy. As for injuries etc, his history is right there as fact, and as Bado says he pulls himself every few plays. No one is 'crapping' on the guy, but this is business and we need to get into the business of see what players are or aren't and getting the players in the right positions to get to the playoffs and win a superbowl.
  15. I have to say Mark I would be really hard pressed to trade down at that point. Now I grant you if someone really wanted him and ponied up more than one pick, you gotta listen to the offer
  16. I have to respectfully disagree on CJ we have seen exactly what he is. We need a power back that can be a 20+ carry per game guy, but again my opinion. I still say Spiller is nothing but Percy Harvin and would thrive for us in that role. But as for as the rest, TE, OT, WR, RB, its all good and I agree Offense should be the priority in this draft initially, then fill in with D.
  17. Free agency...nothing. I say we are done unless something really weird happens. Draft: Here is where many will disagree and I understand. I trade DOWN. I don't care who is there unless Clowney for some reason drops due to some report of him smoking weed ala. Warren Sapp. I want to see OT, TE, then...Running back taken. Whisky, Tango, Foxtrot did you say Kelly? Look there is no way around it, the top teams that WIN SUPERBOWLS Run the damn ball. CJ is a tweener. He reminds me of Percy Harvin and that is how he should be used. 3rd down threat, put him in the slot on 3 wide downs and make him return kicks. And YES I am willing to part with him in this VERY deep draft if the compensation is right. He has proven he can't stay healthy to be a full time back, he can't read defenses very well and can't block. Everyone is in love with the 'What if's ' when it comes to him and the occasional long run, but we need much more than that at the RB position. I want to see a little more of a threat at TE, I want to see RT shored up and I want to see a FB back there along with a RB that can carry the rock 25x per game if need be. Dixon was a blessing IMHO that dropped in our laps, but I am not sure he is that full time back or not. I want to see us pound the ball, and go play action to Woods/ Our new TE And whomever else is at WR. We are shoring up the D (still need a run stuffing DT imho) but the rest is starting to come along and our new DT was a great DT before going to the Lions. DT is his calling. If we can pound the ball, go play action this team could in fact go from 6-10 to 10-6 THIS year depending on injuries. Flame away. Oh and if we trade down or get and extra pick in a trade, address tall WR as well
  18. Honestly I thought the same thing. It WAS Written for the Bills but the producer or whoever is from Cleveland and changed it to the browns. But it sure as hell looks like the Bills will be one of the 'Donkey's that the Browns screw over draft pick wise which I think is chicken **** Anyone else see that during the preview the background for wording is blue but the words are red and white? Damn near the font the Bills use?
  19. Eric ' I keep my pimpin' hand strong' Moulds
  20. PTR I think Marrone wants a bigger, full time back. I can very easily see him traded on Draft day. That said if not then they have to make him 'Percy Harvin' and use him in that type role. I would have him running with WR's this offseason if I planned on keeping him AND returning kicks How many playoff seasons with CJ and Stevie? I can't see either one being the #1 guy on any team (except Stevie in Carolina). We dont' have a drug problem there bud, YOU have a KOOLAID problem and need to wake up yourself
