Look he like Stevie is another buffalo 'feel good story', but even with him and Stevie this team can't put together a winning season. Both guys need to be upgraded position wise and thanked for their time here. Just the harsh reality of the NFL, feel good stories and top character guys or winning, you pick.

That said The experts across the board have said you can get a good Starting RT and Guards into round 3 and its fact. I am not going to go re trace the last couple months assessments by everyone for you, but they have said it, I don't guess, speculate or just pull statements like that out of my butt. As for as other solid facts, NO team or GM worth a damn drafts RT's in the first round. Now they plan on these guys being LT's and some end up not living up to potential and being RT's but you just do not get a RT in round one period. And I am with another poster that if Whaley and company take a guy to play RT in round one when we can still upgrade LB, TE, Safety etc. I have to say they are worthless and I am done with this team. Fortunately I don't feel Whaley is anywhere near that stupid. My personal choice is to trade down at least once and get more picks. Address LB, TE at that point, and in round 2 Grab a RT and maybe more if we have another 2nd rounder like last year. The only think more stupid than taking a pure RT in round one (esp in the top 10) is taking a punter at #9.

And I don't know who will be there I just know EVERY Expert says there will be Good starters at G and RT in the 3rd round. Now I thought everyone who seriously followed football knew RT was not an overly valued position, and you never draft one in the first round, but consider me corrected.

Bottom line....Trade back. We need to trade back twice in my opinion. There is very little drop off in this VERY DEEP draft between what we would pick at #9 and #22 or so. Hell virtually none between #22 and #85 in this deep draft. 'Then why Kelly would anyone trade up'. Simple there are some damn stupid GM's out there that think like fans do :-). Ill bet real money Whaley's phone will be ringing off the hook for #9 by the time we are on the clock. Some GM falls in love with some player and he is there with our pick, you take the trade if its decent. BTW that guy we are constantly chasing up in New England by the name of Billy B doesnt' hesitate to trade back, he doesn't 'fall in love' with X player. Maybe we should try that concept someday...like THIS DRAFT!

How do you get sub par? This OL isn't that bad. LG has been addressed in FA. Now I get fans don't like who whaley got, but sorry its been addressed as for as the Bills are concerned. We need a RT, we can find that in the 3rd round and a damn good one as well. Now I did see a QB that had a HUGE knock on him as for as being able to read defenses quickly get sacked, but is that on the OL or on a Rookie QB that can't read defenses and make quick decisions?

I am with you. WTF are people thinking? We have a left tackle already. Do they think a kid that can be a pro bowl LEFT tackle and make LEFT Tackle money is going to say 'golly gee...Ill take it in the butt for 5 years then get franchised to play right tackle at right tackle pay'? Sure they do because they are stuck in 'Madden' land. This kid will fail to report and then sit out a year and be a top 3 pick next year to a team not stupid enough to try and draft a LEFT tackle to play RIGHT tackle.

Any tackle. We need a RT, not LT and you don't ever take RT's that high (I can argue not in the 1st round period). Trade back twice, get picks for this year and next year if you want a RT

People whine and complain about no media, Buffalo is unimportant etc. Trump buys this team and you can guarantee 5 years of immediate media spotlight. As another poster said he can see land and resources not tapped or used properly in WNY and may be willing to invest in it when no one else has. At this point I have to say IF Trump lets Russ stay on and handle the football part of it and gives Russ the resources he needs, Trump needs to own this team and do so ASAP

The only way you take Evans is if Stevie is trade bait. Otherwise we are overloaded at WR and have a lot of money (esp. starting next year with Williams Contract) tied up in one position. And Honestly if we pick Evans Stevie is easily 3rd on the talent chart and making more than the rest of the WR's combined at this point.

Ralph Wilson was bashed for good reason, for all the good he did for the NFL this team has flat out SUCKED outside the Bill polian era and its fact. Ralph HAS been cheap when it comes to GM/HC choices. There is no way around this Ralph deserved a ton of the crap people ripped him for. This team has flat sucked and NO moves were made without his blessing. We need an owner willing to do whatever it takes to field a winner No it isn't. First order is to do what it takes to make the Bills a winner. If that means keeping them in Buffalo so be it. A new owner isn't going to be Ralph and accept lowest ticket prices in the NFL, he is going to expect the community to pay to help keep them here. So what I dont' want to hear is when Bills season ticket holders and ticket buyers bitching and whining when prices go up. And to keep the team here that is the minimum that will happen.

I still say he will be trade bait on Draft day. No way in hell do you trade him before then, value goes up during the draft. As I said I can see us moving more to a power running game and dont' be shocked when we draft RB this year at some point

Ok guys lets get to reality. The lease can say whatever it wants, it doesn't make it LEGAL. Bottom line no court can or will force an entity to be a tenant against their will. The state can file an injunction and any owner with a law firm worth its salt will get it busted in appeals court in 15 days tops. The County has to prove 400 mill in damages and they cant. Look its all bluster to appease fans and keep them calm as long as possible. The real bottom line is this, a new owner could move them in 2016 if he saw fit. You aren't going to detract billionaires with a 400 million fine. BTW saying any fine, etc of that magnitude has to be paid in 30 days is pure bull **** as well. There is no way in hell you can say that and be 100% correct. Now I get it makes many of you feel good while whistling through the grave yard, but reality of business is if they want to move them this lease won't stop it.

The only 'Need' I can see is a true RT, the thing is at RT there isn't much difference between talent at round 2 or round 3. There are no first round RT's as you dont' take RT's in round one, its a waste of a pick. LEFT tackle....yeah but we have a developing stud at RT And I can't see moving a guy that only gave up 1.5 sacks last year at LT to RT. And if we did you can bet your ass he would either hold out and demand a trade or there would be no way in hell to re sign him when he becomes a FA. Trade down, take BPA and lets do this thing

I have no issue with it. When you Say Buffalo NY most people automatically think Niagra Falls. Also the weather just hasn't been the advantage the last few years as it has say back in the 90's. A domed stadium would be appealing to more fans esp later in the year when its harder to sell out tickets. Have you sat down and convinced Goddell of that yet?

Ill save you the suspense, No. Of all the teams they show talking trade with Sonny (aka Coster) The Bills and Russ Brandon were the toughest. They really showed Buffalo to be strong. Bills fans, Go see the movie. It is a good solid movie about a team and happenings in the draft. YES I wish they had kept it the Bills, but they didn't. What they did to was represent us well I thought for a short segment. Overall as a football fan I think you will enjoy it if you take it for what it is, a movie
