you say he is terrible, the stats say he is hands down better than fitz...its not ever all that close.

I want him gone, but if he restructuring allows us to bring in another top FA, then I am ok with him remaining. However he is not the best QB on the team, I would take TJax's over all ability over Fitz every day. Also Marrone said he told the two QBs that there will be an open competition at QB...he never said Fitz or Jax would be in it......

I love when people respond with intellectual responses, truly shows how much they know about the game....ohh wait, never mind, I guess the same goes for the opposite as well

Fitz money is to be paid out on the 13th...4pm or something like that. FA opens on the 12th. I think the Bills take the first day and make an offer to one or two of the FA QBs that are out there. If they are able to land one, Fitz is gone by sunrise on the 13th, if they arent Fitz gets his bonus and perhaps competes in camp.

Getting Nassib would be a good thing, not because his coach and OC are already here. While that is a bonus simply because it takes out a large portion of the 2 year learning curve they always talk about. But its good because he has the tools, there isnt a QB in this draft that is a guarentee and while a few guys have an attribute or two that are better than Nassib, he is one of the few that has SOLID attributes across the board, most of the others are good here but poor there...Nassib is good all the way, not good enough to bet the farm but good enough to say that he has the ability to be great.....but like EVERY PLAYER in this draft and every other draft, he also has the potential to bust.

I think he said something that the Bills brass didnt want him to say, or at least Chan and comp. didnt want him to say. "We thought VY was going to be pushing for the #1, and then something happened and they cut him, I dont know what that thing was." That was paraphrased not word for word..but it was clear that his play wasnt what got him cut, which I thought all along since he was the best QB in camp and preseason by far IMO.....perhaps his want to redeem himself for his past and what he showed in Buffalo is enough for them to look at him once again....IDK, but I wouldnt be upset. I know alot of you would complain and will flame on this post, but facts are facts, he was the best QB on the team last year and was not cut for his play.

I think this kid has potential, unfortunatly he has been sitting behind one of the best so he hasnt played but sitting behind the best might be an advantage to who ever picks him up as a FA

if you cut him now, he gets no bonus money, saving 3 million plus right off the bat. yes you will take a 10 million dollar cap hit, but you take that regardless....so so far we save 3 million by cutting him. Now lets say we keep him as a backup, well then your on the hook for over 4 million next year and 7 million the year after. The highets payouts of his contract are the final 4 season....so you take the 10 million in cap hit this season and cut your ties because he is costing you 10 mil regardless, but you get to smile a bit because you save 3 million this year and then you arent paying an additional 30 million over the next few years to a backup QB not to mention any other roster bonuses that he may be lined up with.

what does the tampering have to do with Fitz?

only ignornance would lead someone to believe that Marrone didnt suceed at Syracuse, We have an OC that prior to coming to Buffalo was seen in many parts of the NFL as one of the top up and coming offensive minds....GM did bad over the last 3 seasons...hmmm, there seems to be alot of talent on this team, is every pieve in place, no, but we have had 3 solid drafts and brought in some good FA talent. I think you need to open your eyes and sees what is already in place and the direction this tema is headed.....there is a competative team being put together and its only going to get better. Yes QB is a huge question but its a question for alot of teams.....Perhaps you should take a break from the team since you dont like any part of it

I agree with this. I think as far as Fitz goes, they have made up their minds and he will be let go...Andy, I am not sure, he has performed well and letting him go doesnt improve the team, on the other hand I dont think it drastically hurts the team either.

there are multiple sources yesterday and today saying that Fitz will be released in the next few days. None of the sources are the big names, but its a sign that at least something is going on. NFL network is saying that Nix has yet to make a decision on Fitz or Andy.....thats not a good sign for either of them IMO

1: DE Ezekiel Ansah, BYU (6-5, 274, 4SR) Limited experience but dominated in his limited time....great size, speed and hands. 2. DE/LB Sam Montgomery, LSU (6-4, 245, 4JR) Solid against the run and even better in the rush. and with 4.5 speed he can cover 3: Tyler Bray: Big arm, some dont like some of his off field decisions but he was a kid and kids dont always make the right choice

Is drew an option for QB? He has never really gotten a chance, infact he has gotten the shaft pretty much every where because of politics and not football....I like Drew, and he would at least be as good as Fitz at least there is some potential there.....having a stop gap to hold the spot till a rookie this year or next is ready is only a bad thing if Fitz is that stop gap.

I certainly dont agree with passing on every QB in this draft, I think that is just an ignorant way to approach the QB situation. As far as the evaluations go...he over scores Geno Smith, I see Geno as another Pryor....Comparing Nassib and Colt McCoy to each other because of the way they throw the ball....what is wrong with this guy, Nassib has a big gun while McCoy has an efficient pistol....its not even close. And Manual (sp) ummmm, he is not the 2nd best in this draft

so whats the thinking here? the Bills let Byrd test the market like he has said he wants to and get Landry? so they can franchise Andy? I could deal with that

I would take a shot at this kid, he is expected to be ready to play sometime in 2013, perhaps in the first month....he is a solid WR and would be an instant #2 if not a #1...when healthy, the back is an issue so the contract would have to show that. What do you guys think?

Ryan Fitzpatricks final QBR for the 2012 season is 45.8 ranking him 27th in the NFL....the QBR is the most accurate stat for ranking QBs

anyone who doesnt think Ryan Nassib has the tools to be the best QB in this draft and a very solid NFL QB in general, has no idea what they are looking at. Being a season ticket holder in Syracuse, I have seen every snap this kid has taken and he has improved every year. He has all the throws, the size the mobility...he needs to work on his touch passes, and its not like he doesnt have touch, I've seen him go bread basket from 50 yards multiple times, just has to work on it a bit. There is no fix, there is no consperacy, Nassib is one of the top 3 QBs in this draft and will more than likley be the best coming out and be better than any QB the Bills have had since Kelly. I know what your asking, how do I come up with this...simple. I've seen him play. The so called experts havent seen him play, they watch tape and anyone with half a brain cell knows that tape isnt game time. How many times do you you hear WOW, he didnt look like that on tape....all the time? yes! there is a reason. If the Bills werent interested in Nassib and they didnt think he had the ability, why was Nix or another scout at every Syracuse game? Why were they at practices? Logic, at least to me says that if they didnt see things they liked they would have watched him once or twice but not every snap of the season. Is Nassib the pick? who knows, but he is far better than some of you seem to think, more than likley your judging it from the senior bowl where you cant judge nothing. Manzel wont be a good NFL QB, at least not as good as some people keep thinking
