I am guessing that while he may have reached out to Ty directly, that it was initiated/encouraged by Bills PR. While Ty did not come out and say that, he did mention and give kudos to Bills PR for their willingness etc and their part in the whole thing.

The way I understood it he mcdermott reached out to him right after the article dropped to request the conversation, which they ended up having at the combine

He said Sean reached out to him in a very professional manner like a day after the article dropped and said he’d like to sit down and just get to know him etc, Schopp asked if his radar was up on how much he would trust that convo and he gave credit to the Bills PR and Sean that they basically understand critical pieces are going to be run and that’s just a fact of the job but he wanted to give him a full picture of his first year and how he arrived to the current version of himself in the job. dunn said if they go out and loose he will write another critical piece and that’s how it goes but he respects him a ton

I’m not underestimating Denver but the chief’s thing doesn’t resonate much with me this year, the raiders were a botched snap away from beating them in arrowhead too and they are brutal. Division rivals almost always play each other tight. i think the more meaningful stat is that the broncos are 1-6 when the opponent scores 20+. They need to win a certain type of way. As a comparison, the Chiefs failed to score 30 points all year. The bills had some absurd streak of doing so. The Bills are a bad matchup for them.
