Antonio Williams could barely get on the field at Ohio state or UNC either. Why are you concerned that he couldn’t get on the field for the Bills?

Not sure about the question - outside of the benching, do you think he should have been playing more than he did and in place of whom? He played quite a bit for his depth spot. I don’t think he has character concerns per se. But maybe immaturity. Posting his covid violations/fines on Twitter and getting into all of that on social media in preseason was stupid. Especially for a fringe guy.

One thing that I found interesting is that his best friend, Isaiah Hodgins, signed a reserve/futures contract with the bills. I thought he might look to see what else is out there since he never sees the field after 2 years.

I’m thinking about how he lives in a hotel in Buffalo (with his dog) and seems to hate it. Why he does that, I don’t know. Little things like that. He actually said he learned a lot from being benched. He needs coached hard.

The past 2 years at least, the Bills either didn’t tender him as an RFA or let him go find a deal as a UFA and he’s never found anything. I think Bill fans overvalue him a bit because he’s a fun personality. I think he’s a good depth guy and if he wants to come back again on a small deal that’s fine but I’m not handing decent money to him because he’s not consistent enough at the return game. Would rather draft someone to replace him cheap or sign someone in FA who can return more consistently.

Ive listened to these pretty much every week and referenced in the thread where I don’t think he’s returning - he made a lot of comments all year about things he doesn’t like. Personally, I think it’s time he look at some other options if he has them.

I think that’s being a bit extreme. The giants have a bad roster and he’s signing a kid he knows for their 90-man. That’s about it. He will be the one cutting, re-signing, cutting, re-signing to his PS now.

Maybe Dorsey wants to run his own offense instead of what Daboll tells him to do

I heard Rodgers on mcafee show. I get the impression that Adams would not sign a franchise tag and if he doesn’t get a long term deal Rodgers is gone.

Tbh I think Josh is being genuine in his comments. I think he would find it hard to not be himself on the field, and his style and competitiveness is too much risk of injury. Not to mention, over the last few weeks he ran the ball a lot and got tackled a lot and really does need recovery. I also think he’s probably a bit mentally exhausted after that game and not really in mindset yet to to go play around in Vegas at the pro bowl. He wants to be playing in a real game right now, not that. overall, mature decision with a side order of F U

He had an offer from the chiefs in FA last year and chose to go back to the Steelers. Assuming he’s going to make a different decision this year with no QB in Pitt.
