Probably already mentioned but Doug Pederson has been waiting on another HC job and might be interested here. He’s a better OC than HC imo.

Dorsey is the “safe” option here but the Bills may be thinking bigger now that this role is extremely attractive.

McDermott is the HC and responsible for both sides of the ball. That’s not “interfering”. mcdermott brought Dorsey to Buffalo in the first place. If Dorsey decides to go to the NYG, some kind of speculative rift with McD seems the least likely reason. If he wants to just be Daboll’s assistant and not call plays, but paid like an OC, that’s the most likely reason.

It is a bigger gamble for the Bills than the Giants because of the level of responsibility that he will have but I think they do have some idea of what he wiill do after promoting him to passing game coordinator. McDermott and Beane had him in Carolina and brought him here. I think an interesting hire if Dorsey is OC will be QB coach. Shea Tierney would be natural promotion but he’s a daboll guy, anticipate he and asst Ol coach Ryan Wendell go to NYG

At this point, it is just two giants sources (reputable) saying the giants are actively going after him and “in negotiations” - feels strategically leaked and worded. Bills can’t officially offer it to him until the they interview one minority from outside the org. #dorseywatch

Possibilities left for frazier: Saints - Dennis Allen is their current Dc and the front runner. They said they will interview others but they aren’t hiring another DC over their own Vikings - he already was the HC there, can’t see it Raiders - already hired McDaniels choice of GM, McDaniels likely announced soon Jaguars - close to hiring Leftwich as long as they fire balke and hire his choice of GM Adrian Wilson Dolphins - ? He interviewed, it might be the only option now Texans - close to hiring josh McCown, interviewed frazier last year but not this year

They may have already fulfilled the rule with all their interviews but not sure

They are required to interview at least one minority candidate from outside the organization per the Rooney rule

Herbert is 13-15 as a starter but the youngest of the 3. Burrow and Allen are both 25, Allen is more advanced, bigger arm, and more mobile but no shade to Joe

Antonio Williams could barely get on the field at Ohio state or UNC either. Why are you concerned that he couldn’t get on the field for the Bills?

Not sure about the question - outside of the benching, do you think he should have been playing more than he did and in place of whom? He played quite a bit for his depth spot. I don’t think he has character concerns per se. But maybe immaturity. Posting his covid violations/fines on Twitter and getting into all of that on social media in preseason was stupid. Especially for a fringe guy.

One thing that I found interesting is that his best friend, Isaiah Hodgins, signed a reserve/futures contract with the bills. I thought he might look to see what else is out there since he never sees the field after 2 years.
