  1. He has virtually unlimited job security with a great team that is a perennial contender - is he going to give that up to sign up for a 12-month spin around the Houston Texans Career Suicide Machine?
  2. If Stevenson develops (no reason to believe that he can’t) I agree he’s a potential replacement for McKenzie. He was a rookie learning the ropes whereas McKenzie was in his 6th year and kind of is what he is at this point.
  3. They do play that role differently but McKenzie’s value to the roster dips considerably when he’s not the primary returner. I think that is why he was brought back this year in the first place, to give him the chance to earn that which he didn’t. I don’t think Daboll saw him as a consistent weapon on offense.
  4. It was still his least productive season since he’s been in the nfl, and the return role didn’t work out. He was much more productive on offense last year and didn’t get much interest in FA to the point he came back for a 1 year, 1.3 mill deal Maybe he will be used differently in Dorsey’s offense but overall he’s still a flashy, yet unreliable player and he’s been in the league now for like 6 years. I’d like to have him back as a depth guy but not sure why the comparison to Beasely. They have different skill sets and arent used the same way. It isn’t like the Bills would choose to keep one over the other. If one leaves, they will need replaced, and that won’t be by the other one.
  5. I think a lot had to do with Lovie having been their DC and Asst HC already.
  6. Agree on waddle. I hated gaskin as an nfl prospect going back to college so I’m biased on him ever being a difference maker, could just be me. Parker will be wasted.
  7. I liked him for the bills going back to the draft. I remember reading about him and thinking he fit the McDermott DNA.
  8. I think the guy could be great but I’m always wary of hiring a HC because of how he used players that he no longer has and aren’t easy to find. Example, Saleh who no longer has Nick Bosa et al and his defense was putrid and he seemed married to his scheme with less talent. I think the Fish do have some talent at WR but they have a ways to go at RB, TE and OL. Overall if they are going to completely devote themselves to propping up Tua I’ll absolutely take that as a Bills fan. Essentially they are chasing 2nd place in the AFC East and a WC berth as a ceiling.
  9. They are different types of players. I don’t think it’s a one for one.
  10. Also that draft pick we got in return for him from the Pats turned into Matt Milano
  11. Agree but somehow Beane got a 5th for AJ mccarron. And a 3rd for tyrod in the same year that the Browns were drafting a QB #1 overall.
  12. The niners were never in that game after the first half. The Bills rolled up the score and there was some garbage time throwing to try to keep up. Their run game was pretty ineffective. The only points they scored in the 1st half were because the Bills turned it over on their own 3 yard line.
  13. Pour one out for the daily race …
  14. Missing their all pro corner too
  15. And was suspended 6 games! By the team
  16. Anyone who has been to the Destin area knows the beach chair thing is serious.
