  1. I didn’t leave it up to you. It’s the Texas law. I meant that “if one defines it as…” because there may be other states that don’t. Also, he wasn’t “charged.” He’s being accused. https://saputo.law/criminal-law/texas/sex-crimes/sexual-assault/
  2. And they do say that about Ben. The difference there with the Steelers is they drafted him and then he had his issues. So the decision was whether to continue to support him or not. And it was two girls (not that it’s better but it is a difference). Here the organization willfully dumped their franchise Qb for a guy with 22 pending lawsuits and expect the fan base to lap it up because now they might (MIGHT) be able to compete with the more talented QBs in the division and conference. Some fans will and some wont. The fan base is divided at the moment and i won’t shame any browns fan who is familiar with this case and can’t stomach what’s going on. No, the browns don’t know whether he’s guilty. They also very clearly do not care. And that’s the issue.
  3. He was if you categorize forced oral sex is rape
  4. I’ll put it this way. I’m a die hard Bills fan but if this went down with my team AND I was guaranteed to win a Super bowl (which they aren’t obviously) I would still feel sick and disappointed. Being a fan of a team and a face of the franchise is about way more than that to me. I have a buddy who is a huge browns fan and he’s thrilled. Literally doesn’t care. Just wants to win. Glad he finally has a “stud QB”. And I feel bad for him. It has to suck to just put the important stuff on ignore because your organization has no other choice apparently to have a chance to compete.
  5. Because they do the right thing. The high road, though, is rarely crowded.
  6. I believe that the Browns do think he is guilty at least to the degree that the nfl will find reason throughout their investigation to suspend him for a significant number of games. And that Watson believes this as well. That is why they structured the contract to pay him a 45mill signing bonus, and make the 2022 base salary only 1 mill so that he loses as little money as possible as a result of these lawsuits and investigation. It’s enabling and vile. And adds a layer to the disgust of the fan base. Haslam has a very slimy reputation after his company cheated all those people, so not too surprising he would be thE driving force here but supporting an owner you rarely see and supporting this as the face of the franchise is quite different.
  7. I read the accusations. Epstein Jr was accused of coerced oral sex among other things. He says it was consensual
  8. I honestly think he was emotional given who he was doing business with - it was his mentor, Marty Hurney. I don’t expect any deals with WFT anytime soon.
  9. He knows that. But got blinded by the $$
  10. When I heard Sal say this on radio he made it clear that it was his own opinion that Beane may have been extra motivated to get that deal done because what went down with mckissic. He said he has no knowledge of it actually being the case. So not really a rumor.
  11. It’s really just one of those “he said - she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she said” situations
  12. My Ohio timeline is an albatross I think burrow success pushed the browns over the edge
  13. That’s what the signing bonus is for! Easy Peasy 🤮
  14. I highly recommend not trying to analyze meaning from his social media. It is literally all over the place. All the time. And rarely about football. His IG stories is where the football stuff goes down.
  15. Bills have unfinished business against Watson tbh
  16. He did not want to go there. It was the only team to bend over and — well no pun intended.
