    I would feel ok losing one or the other. Hyde himself said the defense doesn’t miss a beat when Jaquan is in there. Losing both is tough to replace for sure.

    Benford can add safety depth too imo when Tre returns assuming Dane is healthy. It feels like a great role for him. siran Neal?

    They need to add a safety but don’t need to make a trade imo. They don’t have a safety on the PS. In fact it was the only position they did not add at all in the off-season. That said I think Benford could add depth at safety when Tre returns

    While I of course agree that they are both very good, and important to this defense, the secondary improved when they got here mainly because McDermott’s defense arrived and that is his specialty. He brought them here in his first year and they fit like a glove. Many thought poyer was going to be a backup.

    The Bills are really short handed. If we lose, we lose. It’s not a referendum on the team or the ultimate goal. Fortunately this isn’t college football where you need to win damn near every game in impressive fashion to make the playoffs.
