The CB market doesn't seem to be breaking the bank this year. Think everyone is learning from the Revis and Nnamdi contracts. I think we could still find a starter at a reasonable price. Is Keenen Lewis still a FA?

Pretty cool setup!! Am I the only one that thinks Bradham could be a player that breaks out this year? He's a big fast guy that could be a playmaker if allowed to attack the ball. Still alot of work to do... hoping for a couple more signings tomorrow.

As everyone I have been confused/furious at times with the fact that no matter how good of a position McKelvin gets himself in he can't locate the ball to save his life. BUT.... 1. We don't know the structure of the deal, I'd bet my house its not 5 mil per year. 2. Every corner in the league is better with a pass rush and everyone (myself included) seems to be excited about Pettine's "attack style" D. I cant remember the last time our D was remotely attacking anything. 3. He is arguably the best returner in the AFC or even NFL. We keep our own, address two positions with one player and appear to have a young nucleus of defensive backs with our highly regarded (by most) D Coordinator. Is the sky really falling??? Or do some live to just piss and moan? GO BILLS!

With all these big name players (Brady, Roethlisberger, Witten, etc...) restructuring their contracts to help the team's cap space, does this put any pressure on Fitz to do the same? Or does it have no affect on other players?

^^ I don't understand this. Are you saying that the Bills should theoretically pass on a Joekell or Fisher at 8 because we have an average RT? You build winning teams from the OL and DL if there is no player on the Bills board graded higher on these guys why reach on someone in hopes they fill a position of "need". What we need is the best talent possible at all positions. If that means a Tackle at 8 I'm certainly not going to be upset with a dominant offensive line.

With all the attention going to Kruger (who I like alot) and Boldin I would really like the Bills to make a run at Dannell Elerbe. He'll come at a cheaper price tag than Kruger (I believe he made less than 2 mil last year) and would be a good fit in Pettines attack style D.

I actually like Barkley more than most posters I've read but I'm of the opinion that the only QB worthy of the #8 pick is Geno Smith. If Barkley is there at 41 I'm fine with that pick. With all the defensive talent at the top of the draft as well as Eric Fisher I think it would be a waste to reach for a qb. If the draft plays out to where a player that the Bills have graded high is available in the 2nd then go for it. I just don't think it would be a failed draft if they don't go qb early. The class of 2014 seems to be deeper but I agree with your point, things could always change

If I am GM first order of business is deciding who we keep and who we let go. For me I make it priority number one to resign AL and either sign or tag Byrd. Id prefer to keep Moore, Merriman, Rinehart and Nelson at a reasonable price for each. Everyone else can go as far as I'm concerned. In addition I'd cut Kelsay, Brad Smith and Lindell. Next in FA I would use our cap space on attempting to sign Dwayne Bowe and either Paul Kruger or Conner Barwin. Wouldn't mind testing the waters on Jared Cook or Delanie Walker either depending on our cap situation. As far as the draft I'd have two scenarios: 1. Able to trade back to 16-20 and pick up a 2nd round pick in 2014. In this case my perfect draft would be... Round 1: DJ Fluker RT Alabama Round 2: Kevin Minter ILB LSU Round 3: Chase Thomas OLB Stanford Round 4: Tyler Bray QB Tennessee Round 5: Travis Kelce TE Cincinnati Round 6: Dwayne Gratz CB Connecticut Round 7: Conner Vernon WR Duke Sign Dustin Hopkins as an undrafted free agent. Does anyone actually have the accurate cap impact on the Bills if they were to cut Fitz? I find it hard to believe they will offer Smith starer $ with Fitz still on the books/roster. I've seen different reports that seem to contradict each other.

After his performance at the Senior Bowl I could see the Rams potentially packaging their two 1sts to move into the top 10 and grab the LT Fisher...

I agree but I wouldn't mind taking a shot on Manuel or Bray in the 4th-5th round range then try to find your franchise guy next year. Brays live arm and talent intrigue me as does Manuels size and rep as footballs equivalent to a gym rat
