There is no reason to keep the 2nd pick, unless it's to draft a QB. I'd bet my left ball that if they keep it, they will select a QB.

Another aspect of Trump's hiring/firing (aside from his own uh, "intensity") is that he pretty much only has people in DC to choose from, and figuring out who is Swamp, who isn't, who is competent and who isn't, can't be very easy.

Yeah, insulting all the women in these Red states isn't doing the Democrats (especially the women) running there any favors. What a stupid thing to do. If I was still a Democrat, I would be pissed....but instead I'm quite pleased! It just occurred to me that surreptitiously hiring Hillary to speak in various states during mid-terms could be a great way to undermine some Democratic candidates.

I don't think the machine was so committed to her then (obviously). And it seemed as though they promised her this past election, if she just stepped aside for Obama in '08, and accepted the SoS position (to boost her credentials, too). Nope, this was the big one, and it failed...bigly. She's filled with hatred.

She's pathetic. I think it reveals just how confident the whole machine was that she could be just placed into the presidency. All the cards were given to her, and it crumbled. So many involved in it (especially her) refuse to come to grips with the result. !@#$'em.

Maybe politics should adopt the "trophies for everyone" approach? Like a trophy and big ceremony for the "Runner-Up" (because no one is a "loser"), so they can hold their head high. Make her feel special. Maybe just give her a little office in the basement of the White House, her own "Runner-Up Seal"...coffee mugs, and assorted merchandise. We can't have these high level politicians going around all bitter and sullen. It's a bad look.

I start to think she is trying to be like Trump, and believes if she emulates his outrageousness, it will help her connect with and rouse the special interest groups the same way Trump connected with his core. Like she's thinking "this is the new way in politics that I should adapt to". But then I remember that she is just a bitter hag.

These people are all about derailing the conversation. That is the whole point, because they have nothing else left.
