I think Ryan hates Trump, and is a Swamp man. He may be polished and articulate, but that doesn't soothe me if he is a corrupt creep....which he is. Cruz, Ryan and Rubio...each would have continued globalist policies, but I guess they would have !@#$ed the country in the ass, with smart and articulate panache?

Two Weeks Out, What do you Currently want to happen?

Sounds to me like you are too young to remember the Dick Jauron era. Those seasons, while not considered "successful", were calm, even serene, days. Keep it steady. Winning championships is nice (from what I hear), but I'm just glad to have a parking lot to drink beer and cook hot dogs in, while I wear my Josh Reed jersey and talk NFL with my Bills buddies. -
Indeed. I am thankful that Ryan and the others have not been as "effective".

Yeah, so is Bill Clinton. So is George Soros. So is Angela Merkel. Being smart and articulate, has nothing to do with honesty, integrity, etc. Paul Ryan is a !@#$ing creep.

Hahahahahaha. Ha.

For me, it's really important for these Bills to at least match the 7-9 seasons, year in and year out. It's humiliating to finish at the bottom. 7-9, 8-8...these are good, entertaining seasons, that allow me to hold my head up with pride in my Buffalo Bills. It pains me when our O-line is noticeably worse than the rest of the league's. Or when our linebacker corp is terrible. Patriot fans make fun of my team, Finding a QB MUST take a back seat to 7-9 seasons. We can't let this team fall back to the bottom, even for one season. -
That's why they have Picks Peterman on the roster.

So, just suck this season, so you might be in a better position to draft a QB, because you sucked? But you don't want to suck because your Oline is crap, you want to have an okay Oline, and suck because the QB sucks? Don't worry, they are gonna suck this season either way, so why not get the QB now?

"See a hole, throw a top pick at it!" "Let's roll with a crap QB, but make sure we have a couple top prospect rookie O-linemen to develop!" I expect them to make O-line a bit bigger of a priority in the draft, but getting a QB is top priority. Pick up a veteran or 2, guys that have already been developed a bit. Rookie O-lineman usually take a while to develop, so I don't think panicking, and changing your top priority is wise.

I doubt anyone here knows the "floor" or "ceiling" for any of these players...what nonsense.

This might be the most electrifying highlight video I've ever seen. He appears to be operating in a faster level of reality, or some such. He is incredible. Of course, I still don't want him as the Bills QB, and doubt they will draft him.
-
The OP just asks for ideas, and everyone wants to beat up on him instead, and tell him how he is "wrong". He never said "I want more running", or "I don't want QB's to be the focus". I could imagine how a visionary coach could devise a new offense that, while still focusing on the QB, fit the skill set of a wider range of QB's and/or easier for "mediocre" QB's to excel at.

I really doubt Belichick would trade Tom Brady for a single #1 pick. Like that's a completely ludicrous statement. Yeah, he MIGHT have wanted to trade Brady when he had Garropplo, but not anymore, and even when they did, I really doubt a single #1 pick would have been enough. I would trade all the Bills picks in this draft for Tom Brady, right fuking now.

Are We a Playoff Team with A.J. ?
Prickly Pete replied to Seventeen's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think they just tried to get the best FA QB they could afford, while expecting to draft the best guy they can get access to in the draft. I don't think there needs to be deep analysis behind the decision by the Bills, or about the decision, by the fans. It was the obvious way to proceed.
