They seemed to do due diligence in scouting him. No one here knows what the interviews were like. For all we know, Rosen may have appeared uninterested in playing for the Bills. There was no shortage of writers saying Rosen might fall in the draft.

I'm curious how often 3rd round rookie Olinemen start and are good? I doubt it works out that way. More likely, either one of the guys we draft the last 2 or 3 drafts develops, or we find a free agent.

Anybody know his comp.% for throws from the pocket? I know they have stats like that for NFL QB's. I think he will be good from the pocket, and they will work on getting him more disciplined when throwing on the move. He throws across his body quite a bit, and on the run a lot. The offense he was running really seemed to push the ball downfield, too. He will be at least as good as Tyrod within a couple seasons, I believe.

Yeah, and Rosen had to do an interview tour specifically to dispel "questions about his character", so his big mouth has already been a problem. It's all in my imagination, though. I don't really care if you want to crusade against Allen. We shall see, huh?

No. The fake quote is not it. I have prior posts about Rosen. I live in LA, and have heard bad things about him. And even his coach threw him under the bus. Him being a prick is not recent news. Kelly was an arrogant hick, trying to act "big time", eventually he got over it. Rosen may mature too, but they are not similar people. Kelly never had his toughness questioned. Kelly was popular with his coaches and teammates. Rosen is considered "individualistic", and to have a mentality better suited to an individual sport (like tennis, the sport he originally trained for, before an injury made him change course).

Kelly was obnoxious in a "dumb jock who doesn't know any better" way. Rosen is more a spoiled, calculating, selfish brat. And a locker room lawyer. Which is worse? I think the locker room lawyer.

I have to put a disclaimer on this (or Fridge will have me sued for slander). This was a fake Twitter quote. I already disavowed. But there are plenty of reasons to think that Rosen is not well liked by people around him in LA.

Have people watched him play? I love how he attacks, and plays with fire and confidence. Reminds me of Rothelisberger. He plays aggressively, and I think his teammates will respond to that. Check him out at 1:40..

Today was a GREAT DAY! It went as well as I could have imagined. Darnold was my first choice, but I'm happy with Allen, AND we got Edmunds. Bills fans should be shitting glitter.

Yeah, the Bills have a guy that was highly regarded, and whining about someone else's present is bad form. I'm just happy that it appears they selected a guy they WANTED, and not just a leftover. It's gonna be alright.

Allen is the best prospect we have had since Kelly. Pissing and moaning is ridiculous. I don't like Rosen, but if they had selected him, I still would have been excited because he is a very good prospect. Let things unfold a little bit.

I think he is going to be good. I think his comp. % is skewed by him throwing on the run so much. They will work on making him a pocket passer, and I believe he will excel.
