I like some of what he does, but stats/fantasy/trivia...they all kinda go together, kind of a scientific approach (yes, even triva is tied in to that in a way). I'm not interested that. I don't really care that he is abrasive. I don't dislike him so much as I'm not interested in the things he apparently finds fascinating.

Some fantasy talk is cool, some stat talk is cool, they do it all the time...not cool. And I don't have to get used to anything... I just don't listen to the station.

Men are talking....all different kinds and colors of men.

I actually don't mind the show as long as they aren't talking trivia, or fantasy football, or stats... which adds up to 75% of the show. They occasionally have good guests... that's about it.

They probably agreed to "turn up the heat" in a bid for ratings. Trivia discussions can only hold listeners attention so long.

I finally realized what feels different now. It's a feeling that has been missing since Kelly. Allen is threatening to a defense. It feels like he can put a defense back on it's heels. The last 20 years of QBs, not one of them really provided that feeling. They gotta get some guys that can get around the whole field quick, and really spread the secondary out. He can get the ball there so fast, it will really play on their minds (and the D-Coordinators).

His emotions always sound forced, even when there is real excitement.

Honestly, he is such a weenie. I was kinda onboard with him for a little while. Then there was that final scene in one of his movies where he had a bunch of wheelchair bound people fill the lobby of a corporate headquarters, rolling into executives..and I just lost all respect for him and his tactics.

As I remember it, the Broncos had that style first (maybe some other teams too) and then a bunch of other teams changed to that style a season or 2 later. I only liked the Vikings unis in that style.

I live in California, and am surrounded by anti-Trump people. None of them are anywhere near desperate enough to risk their lives in some kind of "Resistance" conflict. Their lives are going along fine, and they know it, but won't admit it. It's all bluster, and really, none of them would be willing to get punched, let alone shot.

That's the thing Just like in political discussions, with people's opinions documented on social media, and everyone giving their opinion on everything, no one wants to admit it when they are wrong. People will go to ridiculous lengths to somehow justify their prior stance, and just dig deeper and deeper. Can't trust anyone to give an honest assessment anymore. It's awful. PS.. I seriously expect this guy and many other critics to downplay any success, and gloat over any failure throughout Allen's career. It's the New Way.

I would maybe talk one of those "street vets" into wearing Peterman's jersey, give the guy Peterman's paycheck, and tell NP that he owes us a favor. Just something to think about....
