For a while some folks have been saying that eventually "ground and pound" will come back, because the defenses will be made up of smaller/quicker guys that are suited to shutting down the passing game. I think that time may have come.

How many "really good teams" have they had the opportunity to have some kind of "signature win" against THIS YEAR? The Pats? Allen didn't even have an opportunity to finish. Just let the team develop. Big deal, they lost to the Eagles...it could have been any team really...they could have beat the Eagles but lost to the Giants, would I feel any different..NO! They are gonna lose some games, just like the Dynasty 49ers, the Dynasty Steelers, and every other ***** team except the 72 Dolphins.

They showed it repeatedly during the game. It was pretty clear that he was down.

I think the Bills are playing a bit on their heels right now. But they are still winning. I believe they will get back on track....and continue winning. I felt like the defense was regaining confidence in the 2nd half of this game.

People complain that the Bills haven't blown anyone out, but that is just not how McD approaches the game. He is a "get 2 scores ahead, and go into a shell" guy. They also don't have a big play guy that might break away while they're playing it safe. This team running up the score against a demoralized defense isn't going to happen, even when they are in control the whole game.
