  1. This team's weakest position is still QB (an O-lineman can be found without a high pick). I won't be happy until I KNOW they have a QB. If there is a nice prospect in the first 3 rounds, take the QB. They can always trade him later (or EJM) if they have a "log jam at QB" . They need to draft another RB too, cuz FJ can't do it forever (2nd or 3rd round).
  2. Which one makes less money?
  3. ? I think when you have a QB with "big play ability", a WR suddenly has a lot more "big play ability". Tom Brady would love to have SJ right now.
  4. They had 2 veteran backups, and just signed another earlier this week.
  5. So people think Tarvaris Jackson was gonna lead this team to the playoffs? Basically they drafted EJM, looked for the best vet they could find (Kolb), and carried on. No other Qb available would have been predicted to do any better. Sure, a different backup might make a game or 2 difference across the season (something like 6-10, or 7-9), but they weren't going to make the playoffs with ANY of these backups, and it was slim chance that EJM could have that kind of rookie season.
  6. Releasing Tuel won't move this game to the win column. The Bills playoff hopes died at the very latest, last week.
  7. How many teams have 3 good QB's? This team wasn't going to go anywhere with EJ (and only if he developed). There weren't any QB's available that would have taken this team to the playoffs. They tried Kolb, who was about the best available.
  8. Hope he is okay. I had noticed how much thinner he is than when I last took note of him (probably in Carolina).
  9. I'm certainly not an endorser of bullying, I just can't imagine that the NFL isn't filled to the brim with guys using every method of intimidation available to them. The competitiveness within a locker room is surely off the charts of normal behavior. The bullying jock became a cliche for a reason. He really isn't very good...
  10. From what I've heard, he sucks. It really might be as simple as him sucking, not being well liked by his teammates, making 1st round money, and getting abused because he isn't respected. Does anyone think Aaron Maybin might have had a tough time while here? No one here knows enough about this specific situation to make any kind of judgement. People seem to be projecting their own circumstances into this situation. My point about it needing to be worth it, isn't casting judgement on anyone, just pointing out that the person probably won't get another job. Do you think I'm wrong about that?
  11. I kinda like TJ Goodwin better than Marquise Graham. Who was better Ryan Kelsey, or Chris Denney? I think one will pull away by the end of the season.
  12. I doubt anyone that filed a suit would get another job in the NFL, so it better be worth it.
  13. I'm not upset, I just didn't think it was outrageously funny, just kinda easy. Plus, you didn't laugh at my joke... You guys must be from South Buffalo.
  14. Does "That's what she said..." send you into convulsions? Here, I'll start... "Knock, knock"....
  15. Playing professional football is not a healthy way to make a living. It also attracts people that aren't "healthy".
  16. I find it hard to believe that "bullying" isn't a huge part of every training camp, and that football players aren't ruthless with each other, in general. It's a total "survival of the fittest" atmosphere. Just at Little League levels, guys get ridden over the slightest things, let alone playing poorly. Martin may have an emotional problem, I don't know. He may just be playing poorly, and feeling the kind of pressure from teammates that is common on many teams, but after a lifetime of starring on football teams, he may be unable to handle being abused as a weak link. There seem to be many posters here that talk about guys holding each other accountable. These are guys that make a living beating the hell out of each other, for millions of dollars. I didn't see many people concerned about Justin Rogers mental state after he was considered by many the primary reason for 2 losses.
  17. When I'm hovering my dick over a cesspool, "every inch counts".
  18. I do this, because I want my junk as far away from the bowl of the urinal as possible. If there are kids in waiting, I concede.
  19. Lou Reed is an enigma. Some of the greatest musical accomplishments, and some of the least interesting. But that just makes me respect him more, because he took chances.
  20. It's true that the supporting cast isn't helping, but he is getting old, and he has played extra games every season. I think he has had more lingering injuries than has been let on, through the years.
  21. I'm a cynic...It was probably "hacked" by the webmaster of the site for publicity purposes.
  22. I expect him to retire after next season.
  23. I give up, you are too smart for me. I have a feeling that you are the annoying guy at the bar doing "Color Commentary" for those around you. Thanks..that's why I never go to bars to watch games, and instead watch them at home, like the majority of viewers.
  24. Then you aren't really a "listener" then, are you? It's fine being a purist and all, but for us common fans, the announcers matter. Most people watching are being engaged by the play announcers as they watch, or else they wouldn't be there (they tried games without announcers in the early 80's...FAIL). I'm 46, and none of this has to do with my age. They have announcers for a reason. They have their "A-Team", "B-Team", "C..." etc. because there are big differences in the quality and popularity of announcing teams. I don't give a drip about any perceived bias against the Bills, I just don't want to sit in a room with an annoying person talking to me about the game, all game long, which is what it amounts to.
  25. I think either KC or Denver will be a wild card, and on the way there, they will be dealing SD 3 or 4 losses. I don't think the 6th seed will be the Chargers (or the Bills)
