Brown's drop was definitely him hearing footsteps. Alligator arms.
-
Sigh...I don't know. I DO know that it can be more difficult to catch a ball that is coming hard and fast, whether you are professional or not, and regardless of how much money you make.
-
Great, breaking WR's fingers! Actually, I think Favre was talented enough to win more Super Bowls...maybe if he threw with better touch (I EXPECT Allen to win some Super Bowls, even without better touch. But it is an area that he can IMPROVE). And just because a guy CAN throw it hard, doesn't mean they couldn't make touch passes as well. I never said EVERY drop was because the ball was thrown too hard.
-
You mean a flapper, not a fighter....
-
The facts are that lots of Allen's passes are being dropped. And he is known to throw the ball particularly hard.
-
Haha, what an odd statement, "you'll find someone to take that bet"....just not you (the guy flapping his jaw the most here, telling everyone how ridiculous it all is)!
-
Poppycock. I guess the Bills should just get rid of all the receivers again, and start over, because it's 2 years in a row, and I'm betting it will continue regardless of the Receiving Corp.
-
Where do you get this? To act like how fast the ball is coming doesn't affect how difficult it can be to catch, is just nonsense. Like because they are in the NFL, the laws of physics don't apply. "They're professionals, if they shoot the ball out of a cannon, and they cannot catch it, they should lose their job." I am all onboard with Josh Allen, but I think the lack of touch on his passes is one of his biggest problems.

Giants waive CB Janoris Jenkins

Yeah, but it is used freely. No one is calling it "The D Word". -
It's called "trolling". It's all about getting hits, and there is a market for "Anti-Josh Allen" nonsense...especially with so many die-hard, long suffering, easy to offend Bills fans. Articles about Allen "coming along nicely", "progressing", "Not too bad" etc. aren't going to move the meter much. It's all Love or Hate in Hitsville. Stop hitting it.

The word "dumb" refers to a disability, and is essentially the same type of insult as "the R word", yet there are no repercussions for using it (well, not yet anyway) It's all nonsense. Whatever term is used to replace the "bad" word, eventually comes to hold the same meaning. -

Once you look into the Jimmy Saville story, you can't go back. It's really disturbing. -

Someday "Dumb" will be deemed offensive. -

And apparently that means he is" one of the dumbest humans on the planet"...a moron. Intellectually Challenged. He has a different skill set. -
Yeah, but both backs were still on the field, running, blocking...not standing around on the sidelines for a series. And again, more running plays.
-
I think that more substitutions and more passing have kept the RB's a bit fresher and that may have helped lower the fumble rate. The feature backs like Franco Harris and OJ used to be on the field almost every down.
-
We talkin' bout THIS season. Gore handoffs are wasted plays. His games seem to go...a few carries that result in anything from a 2 yard gain to a 2 yard loss, and one decent run for 8 yards or something.
-
I didn't say it hurt. I said I think it is a cliche that is often overblown. He's a running back, not a QB Yawn. Yeah, they like to hang out, how much that effects Singletary's performance we don't actually know, now do we? Gore is terrible on the field. If they want to have him as a RB coach, that would be great. Just keep him off the field.
-
NO, I think the whole "mentoring" is often blown out of proportion, and that You and any of us here on the board don't actually know a thing about Gore and Singletary's relationship, other that the cliche stories we see reported. I believe they get along well, but what is Singletary going to say "I hate Frank gore, he never helps me!"
