  1. Is losing Byrd really on par with the other changes? Not to me... As far as the Bills leaving, if a new owner stays for 7 more years, the NFL could be in a whole different situation by then. I'm not worried about it right now.
  2. He appeared to have lived a great, and full life. Obviously a man with "vision" and courage, and I salute him for his accomplishments. I didn't know him personally, only as a prominent public figure, but I'm glad I got to share some time on Earth with Ralph Wilson, and appreciate his great contributions to my community, and country. In my mind he is a historical figure, who played a huge role in a pastime of my youth, and lives on in my memory...what more can you ask of someone you have never met?
  3. Why just him then? Why not contact any or every big, college basketball player, and see if they want to come to camp and get pummeled while trying to run routes and catch a football? Why are you so limited in your thinking? I mean, let's think outside the box a little.
  4. Which Bills could play hockey, and what position would they play?
  5. I think they have already more than made up for losing Byrd. They improved in all the weakest areas of the team (save WR). Now on to the draft!
  6. Well, they did lose to the Bills, that might suggest a paper panther
  7. I have only heard about what 6 or 7 teams have been doing. Why? Because most teams did less than the Bills! There's not that much to talk about....what did the Chargers do? The Jags? The Falcons? The Titans? Are you overwhelmed with news concerning the big FA moves of the Arizona Cardinals? Nope... me either.
  8. He isn't a very smooth runner, he flails all over the place. I didn't know hear about these other traits....I would rather the Bills passed on him.
  9. So you aren't gonna watch this season? I mean, they are obviously going to be worse than last year, so why bother?
  10. I have just started watching Ha Ha Clinton-Dix vids, and I have to say I really like the way that guy plays. He plays with an attitude that the Bills could use. I hate to think that they are just replacing Byrd, but I might be happy with Dix (I know...very funny. Ha Ha). Definitely prefer him to an O-lineman. He plays the run great, and tackles with such authority.
  11. I don't think they need a top 10 type talent to make the line good, they already have a LT. A 2nd or 3rd O-lineman should be fine. They need to get a playmaker, on either side of the ball with a top 10 pick. When you are selecting that high, you need to get a special player, a guy that handles the ball (if an offensive player).
  12. Ebron had 3 TDs last season. 3 games with one TD, 10 with none (the last 7 games in a row). I haven't looked at much footage, but that's not real encouraging.
  13. Whining about the past is silly. What are they supposed to do, NOT draft for needs now? The fact that the past draft, by a different GM and Coach didn't turn out, has nothing to do with this year. What I am getting from this is that you want to cry about them not resigning Byrd. It's a constant addition and subtraction, and I think they have made mostly very good moves so far, and we have to see how the draft goes.
  14. They haven't really shown a big interest in the TE position, and I don't think they will start now for Ebron (who disappeared in many games). I hope there is a WR worthy of the 9th, but would prefer they traded down, and picked up another late 1st pick.
  15. Waaaah! They are doing a great job this year in FA, and the draft is coming soon. They have covered their tracks if the O-lineman, linebacker, and DB that they will no doubt draft, don't work out. That's a great way to approach Free Agency. Plus, they have upgraded the Special Teams, which was important.
  16. Not for the 9th pick. Plus he is a d**k, and I wouldn't want to cheer for a creep. It's not gonna happen.
  17. Oh, we can just fantasize... My choice, trade it to Green Bay for Aaron Rodgers
  18. I bet Belichick would swap defenses with the Bills ( at least last season).
  19. It's about the coaching staff and the QB. The Bills have as much talent as the Patriots everywhere else.
  20. His highlights, and a few "every play Vs._____ vids". That's not enough? Not many touchdowns in the Red Zone, so I have to assume he either didn't catch many, or they didn't throw to him there (hence, "no indications"). http://collegefootball.ap.org/article/no-9-clemson-struggling-footballs-red-zone Someone will say "yeah, they were all 50 yarders", but that's not gonna happen as often in the NFL. In the NFL it's about getting into the Red Zone, and capitalizing. The Bills have moved it all right, they just settled for too many field goals. I don't doubt he will be a good pro, but I wouldn't give up those picks, in this draft, to get a player like him, for this team.
  21. There are no indications that Watkins is a good Red Zone receiver, which is where the Bills struggle most in the receiving game. It's not like he is the perfect fit for what ails them (a tall Calvin Johnson type would be...that's not Watkins).
