  1. EJM is going to play some more this season, I reckon. Hopefully, he is getting better in the meantime.
  2. I just drove through Hemet...there is no way I'm more miserable than someone in Hemet.
  3. That's not my argument at all.
  4. It's a song title. Dude, you are way more angry than me. I'm not telling anyone else how to be a proper Bills fan. Apparently, the only way to add to the subject is to rant about how a win can't be embarrassing...
  5. Im not the OP, and I'm pretty happy that they won. I think it's silly to go off over the term "embarrassing win", because there have been some games where even the winner has played embarrassingly bad ( like that Browns Bills 6-3 game). This game wasn't embarrassing, but it was discouraging to me. They didn't look good, and displayed the same problems they have had all season. They won the battle, but it doesn't look like they are going to win the war. I have never actually bet against the Bills, but I don't consider it Some Weird Sin. That last paragraph does not describe me at all, and would love to see any of my posts that indicate that I fit that description.
  6. I'm still waiting for one of you self righteous fans, to show how much you Billieve in this victory. I think deep down you all realize this win was more indicative of a team playing poorly, than a team on its way to the playoffs. Some people will say that once a team is in the playoffs, no one remembers the poorly played wins that got them there, but apparently no one remembers that bad teams win a few each season too.
  7. So you're in on the bet?
  8. Maybe you are right? I'm a terrible, miserable person, and have no business being a fan of this team. Please post the 10 Commandments of Bills Fandom as a sticky at the top of the forum.
  9. So you're in on the bet?
  10. First, I already said, I'm not rooting against them. Second, talk about sad. It's a football team, and not that important. I'm looking for them to play well, and though they won ( I'm happy about that!), I can't honestly say "wow, these guys are really putting it all together". It's not that crazy to feel that way, and it doesn't mean I'm a miserable person.
  11. Tough luck, Greggy.
  12. I would be happy to lose. Wouldn't you pay a hundred dollars to see the bills in the playoffs? The bet would just ease the pain when they miss out again.
  13. I would never root against them.
  14. Bad analogy. Lotteries are random. So you are in on the bet?
  15. I guess the word "embarrassing" is what people are hung up on. How about "discouraging"? This team won't make the playoffs...
  16. Yeah, that phrase triggered a memory, and I looked up Brown's fumbles, and this came right up.
  17. This is what I see too. A top flight coaching staff could win lots of games with this team.
  18. Well, not yet.... bleacher report.com/articles/1444769-bryce-brown-and-the-most-fumble-prone-players-ever (Admn. won't allow link)
  19. I have already offered to take a bet on these Bills. I say they ain't making the playoffs, and would love to see one of the "I'll Take It's" step up...cuz you guys are such great fans.
  20. Well, I'm not one of those that are angry, just not very impressed.
  21. I hope so too, but as I posted earlier, if they were a proven winner, I could say "oh they got away with that one, they had an off game", but they aren't. When the 90's Bills won a game this way, it was like that. When a team that hasn't been to the playoffs in a decade wins one like this, I think "that was a nice promising comeback, but what is going on?". One team has to lose.
  22. Because they aren't playing well, and haven't pretty much all season. They have won games in ALL the previous 14 seasons, but still sucked, no?
  23. These end of half gaffes are way too common with this coaching staff. It's not a coincidence, it's mis-managing the game. Marv Levy was out-coached in 4 Super Bowls, and while I liked him alright as a coach, I wouldn't consider his quotes to be "gospel". How did YOU feel about it, Marv isn't here...
  24. These Bills are not a good team, they are just better than the Vikings (at least at home). I guess that's a positive, after a decade outside of the playoffs. If they were a proven winner, we could say "they had a tough game", but they aren't, so it's more like "even the loser's, get lucky sometimes". Who among the "I'll Take It's" wants to bet these Bills won't make the playoffs?
  25. And the added benefit of #3 is that you are hitting Brady, and roughing him up has many advantages (no, I don't want him seriously injured). One of those advantages is that, even if you lose, he goes into the next meeting anticipating a rough game. There have been so many Bills games where it's just been a walk through the park for him physically.
