  1. Perhaps, but I'm glad you at least figured it out. I will try to keep things simple for you.
  2. Here it's simple dude. "Wouldn't it be ironic if they ended up with the guy that never wins a championship, and miss out on the guy that wins?" It's not hard to figure out my intent.
  3. You don't have to follow any sport to know that tanking a season is shameful. You don't have to be a fan, to know that fans that cheer against their team don't "deserve" a championship.
  4. Yep. I misspelled the guy's name.
  5. I got it copy and pasted "ExiledinIllinois": "Why do they keep reporting: "Tank to keep their odds better..." Its only 20%! It is NOT about odds... Its about McEichel." Regardless, misspelling his name doesn't change the circumstances. I don't have to know anything about the players involved, to know that those "fans" don't deserve any championships. There are still some fans on this board calling EJM, "EJ Manual".
  6. Wouldn't it be ironic if the Sabres get McDavid, but McEichel ends up winning all the championships, or vice-versa? Debasing yourself doesn't always work out. I am more disappointed in the way some of the fans are acting than anything else. I understand "building for the future" by trading away good players, putting young players on the roster, etc. I don't understand going to games with "Tank" signs. and cheering for losses. It's pathetic, and then claiming "We deserve it"? I don't think these kinds of "fans" deserve anything. The Sabres have had lots of great players, lots of high picks...they blew them. Mismanaged, out-coached, bad luck... I get it, nobody wants to hear dissent. "Close your ears, and wait for that championship. Then we can strut!"
  7. Leaving the blooze behind, a peek into the future...Melt Banana https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfoiSWLl0NI
  8. "We deserve it"...This is how far fans in Buffalo have fallen? Wanting losses, for the chance, to get the opportunity, to maybe get a player, that might lead the team to a championship? That's backwards to me... "Let's lose our way to the championship!". Yeah, maybe we do deserve it, like sympathy sex. Proud fans!
  9. "Bill Belicheck's fanboy is about to give us a lesson in sports etiquette and integrity." Yea, brilliant. You were in tears of laughter over this, Beerball? Really? Slapping your knee, holding your stomach, beer out your nose etc, over that little quip? I wish I could be so easily amused.
  10. Nope. I'm I'm pointing out the hypocrisy of Buffalo fan. I don't think highly of what the Sabres are doing, and I think it undermines the NHL's competitiveness. I don't think highly of some of the things the Pats have done either (but the ball deflation "scandal" is fueled by bitter opposing fans), but none were as shameful and embarrassing as what the Sabres are doing. To me, some of what the Pats do make the NFL look ultra-competitive (that's good, and INTERESTING to me). What the Sabres are doing is truly making the NHL look bush league. You are free to feel however you want, but I have no interest in the Pats, love the Bills, and think the whiners are showing bad form, crying over what the Pats might do to WIN, while celebrating actions of the Sabres organization. It's truly a loser's mentality.
  11. This is pathetic... http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nhl-puck-daddy/inside-buffalo-tank-night--did-fans-disrespect-sabres-by-cheering-loss-114336029.html
  12. So you approve of what the Sabres are doing?
  13. Cool. if it comes out that someone in the Pats organization was told to deflate balls, then the team should be punished. If not, then there is nothing you can do or say. Right? Guess you will be quiet then, huh?
  14. Gee, wouldn't we all? But that sidesteps the point... There is plenty of criticism of the "Pats*" on this board coming from Sabres fans, yet the current owner of the BIlls also owns a team that is blatantly tanking an entire season! Talk about "gaming the system". Lots of morality blather from folks appalled with the "Cheatriots", but all in on the Sabres and Pegula. It's completely hypocritical! I respect the Pats WAAAAAAYYYY more than the Sabres. At least they are trying to WIN (and actually do win...over and over and over).
  15. How many here are okay with the Sabres (essentially the entire organization, from owner, to coaches, to players!) throwing the season? To me, throwing an entire season is shameful...way more shameful than anything the Patriots organization have ever been accused of.
  16. I wish the Bills were smart enough to provoke rule changes. Instead, they might have a guy lay down and "hide" in the end zone on a kickoff...
  17. Meh, I don't care about this anymore. Wallow in it...the Pats have the titles, this isn't gonna change a thing. There would be "haterz" no matter what they did/didn't do. It goes with the territory of dominating. I'm sure there are still opposing fans bitter about the 90's Bills.
  18. Great joke! hahahahha! Clever! But of course, not really relevant. If anything, they should be more aware because they are alternately handling balls from each team, and would notice the difference. Pretty sure you would notice the difference between your wife's breasts, and another woman's right away...
  19. Lame excuse. These guys check the balls every game. They handle footballs all the time, and even throw them. Here it comes "they don't throw it like a QB, it's not the same!" blahblahblah.... they know footballs. They have spent countless hours handling footballs. To deny that is ridiculous.
  20. This is the most ridiculous claim of them all. The officials handle the balls ALL game long and if the Pats were doing this as long as people claim, the officials should (or would, if "any professional knows his tool") have noticed.
  21. And are the teams that are running it more on 3rd and 2, also the teams that have crap QB's? What are the teams like the Broncos, Pats, Saints, Colts, etc, doing on 3rd and short?
  22. I remember during the Bills dominant years (pre-internet), when there was outcry that the league should move the conference championship games to a neutral site, because the weather and fans in Buffalo were an unfair advantage. I can't imagine what that would have been like if there had been an internet back then. Bitter whiners from around the world. Of course, some will say "but this is about cheating!"...but it's still a reflection of embittered fans searching for some way to attack the victors. The Bills will have their turn again.
  23. Hahaha, I will be happy if they make the playoffs too. Maybe all this losing has worn me down.
