If they trade Brady, or bench him for Grappopaloo, I lose. -

What do you need odds for? Well, unless all this speculation is just silly blather from people who think they have some special insight into the managing of the the Patriots. -

I know the situation. I'm not going to bicker, because we will just have to see, won't we? Jimmy Grapoljxca isn't a better option than Brady for this season, and probably won't get the job until Brady retires. Okay. Who wants to make a bet that Tom Brady will be the starter for the remaining games (barring injury, or sitting out after clinching the playoffs) on the schedule, after his suspension is over? How many takers? Stand behind this silliness! $100 -

Tom Brady just won a Super Bowl and was the MVP. Bledsoe was coming off a 5-11 season. You are really trying to compare where Bledsoe was to Brady's current situation? Laughable. Yes, SOMEDAY Jimmy Grapppolodh might replace a retired Tom Brady. Not this season. -

I'm the guy that some accuse of being a Patriots fan, and since the Wells Report, I haven't looked into them at all. Yes, they are preparing the backup to play...WTF else would they do? -
Manziel Throws a Nice Water Bottle
Prickly Pete replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So now everyone is held to the standard of Hank Aaron? I am so curious what some of the posters here are really like. There are some real "stone throwers", and I'm thinking they could never live up to the standards they profess on this board. hahaha! I wonder how Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, or Bruce Smith, would compare to Jackie Robinson? Why these extreme positions? I don't know what happened with Johnny Football, but it sure seems like a small incident. -

I know how it got this way, but that doesn't mean every conflict is some kind of outrageous incident. I don't think he will succeed in the NFL regardless. -

This board is too fixated on the Patriots, and Brady. -

I can't stand Johnny, but I have no doubt that he is a magnet for douchebags, and any reaction he has will be blown way out of proportion. -
EJ Manuel's film session games 1-4

Yeah. I hope he was just so brow beaten by Marrone, that loosening up will improve his timing. The footwork is bad. -

That Texans game was brutal. The O-line was terrible, but EJM was so rattled (I HOPE that's what it was), that even when he had time, he was throwing like a bad high school QB. -
NFL gives Brady/Pats an asterisk*

Yep...He also referred to him as "the greatest QB ever to play" You're welcome. -
Because most have either been trashing EJM, or insisting that he still has potential, for a few years on this board. They want to be right. I have no preference, but I expect EJM to be the starter.

Interesting quote from Jim Kelly: “Oh, there’s no doubt,” Kelly said. “There’s no way that an equipment manager in the National Football League is going to do something to the football without the greatest quarterback ever to play knowing." Thanks. -

What is this "Rewrite History Month"? So now you not only want to diminish the Patriots, but also give the 49er's more championships. It's all already in the books. Everyone knows the 70's Steelers were using Steroids....asterisks Jerry "Everybody was doing it" Rice and the 49er's....asterisks -

Haha, what kind of "breaks" do the Patriots need, they have 4 Super Bowl Rings? Belichick and Brady could retire today, and already have more than enough accomplishments to be considered the greatest of their era. It's already done! It wasn't Montana cheating, but you are trying to marginalize the accomplishments of the Patriot TEAMS, and Jerry Rice was not only a huge part of a team, but played a massive role, directly in Montana's accomplishments. Surely, by the whiners own logic, that taints Montana's AND the 49er's accomplishments. Rice had an advantage both catching, and holding on to the ball (just like the Pats!). And doesn't Rice have notably low numbers for both dropped passes and fumbles? Thought so... Let me state again, I think Brady did it (just like Rice!), but I don't for a minute buy that it was a deciding factor in any of their successes (or the 49er's!). Get over it, whiners. -

Rice was cheating for some of those Super Bowls, so those were accomplished by a team that was CHEATING. And "cheating is cheating" is the phrase all these whiners fall back on! Brady has more Super Bowl appearances, and the same amount SB wins, he has a more impressive list, PERIOD. This fight has already been "won", because no matter what you say, Brady has the upper hand. I don't even know what their playoff records are. I do know that 6 Super Bowls with 4 wins, is better than only 4. IT"S OBVIOUS!!!! -

Lame, and disingenuous. Montana was losing conference championships instead of Super Bowls. If you want to call him the greatest Super Bowl QB, that's cool. But he was losing in the playoffs. Brady's accomplishments, however they might have been achieved, are unparalleled. Thanks. -

I would think then, that every team would have the ball inflated to the minimum PSI. At least the smart ones. It will be interesting to see if it becomes the standard throughout the league, and if indeed, the fumble stats are affected. It may indeed have an effect with fumbles, but I doubt that was why they started doing it. I think it might have been an unexpected benefit. Belichick probably thought it was just his great coaching. I don't think Belichick had anything to do with the deflation, because if he did, then the equipment clowns would have talked about Belichick getting pissed when they made mistakes, not Brady. This was Brady's thing, so he could grip the ball better. He may have told Belichick about it, but I don't think it was Belichick's idea, or that he orchestrated it. -

There isn't one. It's more about the kickers than anything to do with the QB's. -
