  1. Where did I call Belichick "an example of moral fortitude" ....Really, I wanna see where I have ever even implied that. If you guys are satisfied with Goodwin, then so be it. I think the guy should be solely concerned with becoming a better football player.
  2. So what? He should be resting then, and getting his body ready for playing football, not running. He hasn't performed well enough as a football player. His head is in the wrong place. It's not a big concern to me, because he probably won't make the team anyway.
  3. My issue is he isn't a very good football player, so he should be justifying his salary (and the 3rd round pick that was used on him), and work on things like running routes, and catching the football.
  4. Cut him. If he isn't concentrating on football with the Bills, I have no time for him. I wish him well, but have zero interest in track and field events.
  5. And it keeps him a local San Diego hero when he becomes an ex-player. He ends up looking great if the team moves OR if he is traded, because it sets him up as against the move of the team, It's a no lose position. I believe that he doesn't want to move, and that he doesn't like LA,, but I don't think that if push came to shove, and the Chargers had some promise as a team, that he would retire rather than play 2 or 3 seasons in LA. I think he is mostly feeling grumpy about probably having to move even though the team isn't very good, so when asked about it on a local radio show, he grumbles about it, knowing that the locals are sympathetic to it. In other words, too much is being made of this.
  6. Oh Kirby....http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/169934-darick-watch
  7. I see Johnny Depp taking the romantic lead.
  8. Banal music for banal minds. Jonny BJ was hard to hate...but hard to like. Everything about him was safe as milk, and insipid, so how could I get riled up about him? Then he made a weak and sorry attempt to fool the Bills fans into believing he didn't intend to move the team...
  9. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/177972-pats-signed-chandler-because-belichick-is-a-genius/page-4 Good spot to keep this, in case it gets lost.
  10. Haha, I saw that quote from Bentley. I know a number of women whose husbands are likely asking them "So, what exactly did you see in that guy?" Foels described him very well. Ricky Matt was someone you didn't want to see.
  11. I grew up with Ricky Matt, and was around him since we were about 9. Played LL baseball, hung around the Boy's Club, went to the same Junior High. He was always destructive, into highly risky behavior, and into intimidation/humiliation....girls loved him.
  12. I think my points are clear. I'm done walking people through every angle (each person!), and trying to counter every disingenuous attack (again, repeatedly)...it would take days. Figure it out for yourself.
  13. The problem with the arguments on this board is that there are crossed up opinions and arguments. You refute one argument, and someone else comes at you with something else entirely different. I respond to the people that think the Super Bowl wins are tarnished (That's the stance of MANY here). I don't see why non-compliance should affect their "legacy"...but I'm pretty sure someone here is going to come up with a silly reason why it should. I am fine with the penalties that have been meted out. They deserve that.
  14. Then the San Diego Chargers case is similar, huh? That was disputed on this board. And if it's only about not cooperating, is it really an offense that should warrant stripping them of titles and other such nonsense? I'm no apologist, and I never suggested that "the league rule mandating cooperation in league investigations is silly". I wonder why you would suggest that I DID suggest it?
  15. This seems like a good spot for this link.... http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/joe-montana--deflate-gate--no-big-deal---his-49ers-used-illegal-silicone-155630060.html
  16. It's tax dollars (our money) being moved around, in a symbiotic relationship. The NFL and the military seem to have a close relationship. Perhaps it's just a way for the military to get large sums of money directly to the teams (as opposed to giving it all to the TV networks).
  17. Haha, thanks. I'm not sure why he would doubt it.
  18. I look forward to revisiting this thread later this year..
  19. He may not know "QB history", but he knows a lot more about Tyrod than the average poster here.
  20. Not to be flip, but he has had a lot of time to work on it. I wonder if excellent penmanship is fairly common among inmates with long sentences (haha)?
  21. Phillips has done some stupid things, but he hadn't killed anyone. He put himself in this situation, but to condemn him for this death without even hearing proper evidence is harsh judgement. There certainly is a chance that it was "kill or be killed". The guy that died was in for 1st degree murder... It's clear from his writing that he is reasonably intelligent (it's better than most poster's on this board). His problems were emotional.
  22. Like Doc said, it's POSSIBLE! I mean Grappablio COULD throw for 500+ yards and 8 TD's in every game. Who are you guys to discount that it's POSSIBLE? And not only is it POSSIBLE, but we need to discuss it in-depth here on a Bills board. Don't think for a minute that the Patriots are just trying to get their backup ready to fill-in for Brady during the suspension...absurd! We are talking about the Patriots, and they never just do normal preparations.
  23. Then this thread is stupid. Of course Brady will eventually retire, or leave. And yeah, the Patriots hope that Grappuldo is good enough to replace him SOMEDAY.
