Yeah, he may be too soft for the NFL, but no doubt he could tear the arms of most (if not all) the posters here. I thought the whole bullying scandal was ridiculous, but he has already surpassed the average Bills fan in both earnings and education, and excelled at a high level in his chosen field. I wish him well, just hope he stays away from the Bills.

OK. You are right, there isn't a nice, clean comparison...but so what? It is so obvious that it would be foolish for the NFL to allow her to speak, that I can't believe anyone here, would not understand why they want nothing to do with her having a huge audience to address. It doesn't need a neat comparison...it's simple enough to understand without one.

Jim Harbaugh interview on Cowherd

Baseball blows. -
The NFL would be foolish to allow her to speak. The family has a lawsuit against the NFL, and no matter what she says, there would be no way to stop her from airing accusations. Would any business owners here provide a massive public platform, for someone with an active lawsuit against your business? Nope. Sorry, I didn't see this. It's ridiculous to think they should.

Jim Harbaugh interview on Cowherd

No need to apologize to me. I'm not the least bit worried about his career. Plenty liked his show, he has been incredibly successful, and none of the opinions expressed here will have an impact on him (or me). -

I agree with most of your criticisms, and I don't like many of the things he says, but I think the good outweighs the bad. You tied the emoticon to a Cowherd quote about motivated people leaving small cities for coastal cities, and you yourself have left, Greggy. Therein lies the irony. Figure it out. -

"Constant", huh...I'm wearing you out? The underdog, chip on their shoulder, talking proud buffalonian is no invention of mine. There is definitely an element of that in play in this conversation. You don't need to respond to, or even read my posts. Just block me. -

This appears to be the rub. That's not how I interpret his opinions. He says things like "The big coastal cities are where the go-getters move"...and he is right. It's generally true. He covers plenty of universal topics, that have nothing to do with where one lives, but some people just can't get past it. I think many Buffalo fans are way too sensitive. -
Bills you no longer like after meeting them in person
Prickly Pete replied to major's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have the impression just from reading posts here. I realize that RWS is located in the southtowns, so it gets referenced more, but I gathered that the southtowns has a bit larger presence here, as far as the regular posters are concerned. I'm sure there are plenty of people from other areas (and states, and countries) as well. I'm from the northtowns. -

It's getting off topic, but suffice to say, most of the out of towners likely grew up in Buffalo, -

Perhaps, but I'm referring to just this message board. Like I said, a dividing line of the 33 extended by the 90 East. I would consider Lancaster a Southtown, and Amherst a Northtown. -

I am actually curious how posters on this board would breakdown. Are there more "Southtowners", or "Northtowners" here (I guess the dividing line would be the 33, then extended by the 90 East)? It feels like most here are Southtowners, no? -
Jim Harbaugh interview on Cowherd

I don't think Cowherd is very controversial, just opinionated. If you don't like him, don't listen, but your description of his approach, and your assumptions about me are inaccurate. -

He musta done something right though, huh? I understand why people don't like him, and there are plenty cracks in his discourses. But then, he is presenting his opinions for a few hours, 5 days a week, ANYBODY doing that (that actually challenges his audience) will have that problem. Dan Patrick for instance, is a snore, and part of the jock fraternity...he is a square, and never challenges his guests or listeners. Cowherd gets weaselly sometimes, but his shows have a broader scope than just sports, and he has been successful for a reason. He will continue to be successful. -

Most of the posts are stories of fans wanting something from these people. I don't want to engage with anyone (famous or not) in an unnatural way, it puts them on guard. The only times I have interacted with famous people, it has always been in regards to mundane situations like opening a door, excusing myself to reach for the sugar...that kind of stuff. Unless they are playing "do you know who I am?", just leave them alone. -

Nope, I love Buffalo, but my self-worth isn't tied to the city's image. I completely understand why a guy with a national radio show would worry more about bigger markets. It's no big deal. -

Cowherd has his faults, but he has a great show, and regardless of how people in (small market) Buffalo might feel about him, he has great guests. It takes tons of talent to do a show like his, day in and day out. Yep, he is elitist, and that leaves some people out (frankly, Dan Patrick is for squares). Jerry Seinfeld thinks Cowherd is great, and I put more weight in his opinion than some Buffalonian who is pissed because Cowherd doesn't like hockey or something. It's clear to anyone with a working brain that Harbaugh is a giant @**h***. -

Where is the part where I talk about Belichick's morality? You just brought out quotes about Ryan, which wasn't what I highlighted. And yes, I find Rex Ryan trashy. I never said he was "too white trashy to be an effective coach", those are your words. I think he is an excellent coordinator/defensive coach. You got nothin', dude. I wish you were even half as clever as you think you are, that might make things interesting...but you're not. -

Yes, all those things, and juggling! He should be learning how to juggle, with weighted footballs. Yep.
