Did anyone expect Tyrod to go the entire season without missing at least a game or 2? EJM can make throws over the middle, and he has a different set of tools than Tyrod. I'm anxious to see how different the offense looks. I will be really angry if the OC doesn't let EJM air it out a bit, or insists on focusing on the running game if it isn't effective (again).

Drama.

I think the Bengals are a good team too, but they aren't the Patriots. I think the DBs are going to have a great game, and the offense is going to be way better with Watkins and McCoy. EJM or Tyrod...I think EJM will be better than a hobbled Tyrod, and that's another boost. I expect a big game from Watkins, who just may prefer EJM, and will see this as an opportunity to show what he can do with more targets. This is a big game.

He certainly seems excited to have EJM start.... The thing is, if Tyrod is missing him, the OC should be coming up with ways to get Watkins the ball, even if it has to be a handoff.

I think trying to say this is just because of 2 games is misguided. He has a way better idea of whats going on than you do, and he knows what the coaches plan for him, and why the QB isn't getting him the ball. He is in the film room watching with other players (who have responded to this by saying "get him the ball").

If the QB cant get it to him downfield, then give him a screen pass. If the QB cant even do that, then hand it to him. They have handed it to Percy Harvin, and they have handed it to Marcus Easley. Get him the ball.

Get him the ball. I dont really care about these quotes, it's just noise. Every team with stars has guys yapping. I dont like Roman. I think he is the kind of guy that wants to win the game with his scheme (the extreme being Chip Kelly) When you have a player that can take over a game, you gotta get him the ball.
