  1. And then what if you are wrong? Know where else everybody is packing?....Places like Yemen. Yep, just walking around with their guns. It's a great vibe! And are you comfortable with EVERYONE, like even groups of minority teens (18), or "Middle Easterners" packing as you stroll through Target with your kids? And while one person with a gun to take out a crazed shooter would be nice, I'm not sure if I would feel safer if everyone in the area whips out a gun and starts shooting in a crowd. I'm okay with gun ownership, not okay with every place I go being filled with people and guns, just because there have been some mass shootings. It's really, really, really, really, really unlikely that I, or any of you, will be shot in some kind of "mass shooting", or even shot at all. Get a grip.
  2. Great. So you think Ray Rice, who hasn't been playing, is gonna boost the odds....pfft.
  3. Why make an acquisition that would be an embarrassment for the organization, when playoff hope is so dim?
  4. He will get better. My main concern is him staying healthy. I want them to get another highly ranked prospect in the draft.
  5. Perhaps, but I doubt the fans would stop watching games, and all that jazz.
  6. I bet if the Bills were a top 5 team, ALL the people saying that the NFL is bloated, bad, fixed, etc, would be loving the league. There are plenty of problems with the NFL, but none that having a winning team won't cure.
  7. This. I'm not sure what you want from them? It hasn't even been a full season, and there isn't much they can do right now. I would be more worried if they became meddlesome. For one thing, drawing talented people to the organization can be tough if the owners do things like fire the head coach in the middle of his first season, in the first year of their ownership. That said, I hope they fire Ryan at the end of the season!!
  8. An individual gunman, sure. But this is organized, and you want to get one alive to find out if there are more people involved.
  9. Similar to the "Lombardi Trophy", when he retires, they should name the MVP trophy, "The Brady Trophy".
  10. I don't know if they will win this week or not, but I think they will finish 7-9. They just aren't very good.
  11. Ha. I remember my mom trying to tell me that Frank Reich should start over Jim Kelly. It's weird to remember how a segment of the fans just didn't like Kelly, so would actually make such ridiculous claims. Sorry Mom...
  12. My God, this team just stamps out any expectations a fan might hold. There are people that won't even admit disappointment, alongside people who just go to the games for the tail-gating, next to people that gave up any hope years ago. I'm not criticizing anyone for their feelings (I completely understand how you all have come to them), but it's depressing to think there are franchises that win with regularity, and are generally competitive, where every fan can really look forward to a season with hope.
  13. Ha. The owners should have been smarter, but then again this is their first NFL coaching hire. Rex though.....while I agree his idiocy is beyond his control, he could work harder. He could delegate authority to more competent people. He could just get out of the way.
  14. I'm over the KC game, I'm over the previous losses....I'm over this season. What I'm pissed about is that for the next few years, Rex Ryan is going to be the coach. He creates an undisciplined atmosphere. This video is spot on. There is some hyperbole, but the core points he makes are accurate.
  15. Yeah, I don't see how his story helps the case against the league? He lived a normal lifespan, and functioned extremely well in the broadcast booth for 27 years after leaving football. Where is the controversy in any of this?
  16. Wayne Fontes! I figured out who Rex Ryan reminds me of. A personable "player's coach", an affable, self-deprecating interviewee.
  17. Well, you boys both support teams that aren't going to the playoffs. I hope things work out.
  18. Ha. In that situation, he should at least get the ball into the endzone. It would never happen to Brady.
  19. yeah, that thought occurred to me. A big roster turnover...back to the drawing board.
  20. I think I would rather have an "up and coming" coach that might at least learn and get better. A guy with a learning curve. Ryan isn't going to get better. 4 more years...
  21. Let's talk 2016 draft.
  22. Belichick gets the most out of the talent he has, and is prepared for virtually every development. I don't think it's totally fair to compare Ryan to Belichick, but Ryan isn't even average.
