  1. So what? He is is nice to have around, I suppose, but he is nothing special. I guess things have slowed down, post-draft, so it's time to bicker about Robert Woods again. He gets so much print here, one would think he was a difference maker....he's not.
  2. Seems like every year the defense looks great on paper.
  3. It peaks week one (Charles Bradley), after that it's a snooze-fest of has-beens (at best).
  4. I was anxious to see what might come out about Cook after the draft, because I think he looks great on the field. Well, I can understand now. I still think he can have a successful career, but it's gonna take some beatings, humiliation, and probably some locker room wedgies.
  5. I love The KInks, but I don't think they are on the level of the Beatles or Stones. I would have liked to hear George Martin or Jimmy Miller produce the Kinks, because I think their late 60's / early 70's records sound terrible.
  6. Probably not, but Tyrod's contract is up at the end of this season, and a lot can happen between now and then. I don't think that Tyrod is at all worried about his job this season, but the Bills interest in Tyrod, Tyrod's interest in the Bills, the Bill's Salary Cap situation, and Cardale's progress, will all be at different points at the end of this season.

  8. So now you KNOW what I'm thinking too! Amazing.
  9. I merely asked "I wonder what Tyrod is thinking?", a pretty broad question. It was you that decided that meant I thought he was worried about Cardale replacing him this season. I just wondered what he might be thinking, it could be "I like Cardale as a backup", or "This makes the team stronger" or "I hope EJ stays" or just about anything.
  10. I don't think Tyrod has any concern about this Jones taking over as starter this season, but he has to be aware that if Jones shows promise it could affect his contract, and even his future with the team. But then again, you guys know everything!
  11. I would much rather have Connor Cook, but Cardale is a good choice. A guy like Hogan, would have really disappointed me, because I prefer a high ceiling QB prospect, if the guy isn't a top pick. I wonder what Tyrod is thinking these days.
  12. Teams pass a lot, and Ragland isn't good in coverage. He will be useless against the Patriots.
  13. Drafted Connor Cook when he was there in the 3rd round. Big mistake.
  14. now it's about having your org. and GM in the spotlight, and getting face time. really annoying.
  15. I guess we will just have to wait and see. My prediction....lots of success for Cook, crap career for Hogan.
  16. Win/loss was brought up before, and I do believe it CAN, sometimes, indicate "leadership". Cutler's didn't have near the college record of Cook. Whatever Cook exhibited in college, it worked fine, or didn't have a noticeable effect. I think it's being blown out of proportion, like so many topics these days.
  17. Haha, yeah that guy finds poetry in every motion.
  18. He has some skills, and I wouldn't be disappointed if the Bills selected him (but I prefer Cook).
  19. I have no idea either. Not sure I should derail this thread with more Cook, but he has the smoothness, and body language that cannot be taught. I was watching Jim Kelly footage from Miami U, and noticed right away his smoothness, and when I later saw Cook, he had a similar smoothness. So I have looked for it in old footage of guys like Marino, Kelly etc. I'm not claiming he will match them, but he has that level of smoothness. Look at the play fake at 1:06....Kevin Hogan will NEVER know that feeling of effortlessness, never move that well.
  20. I posted this same video earlier in the thread. He blows. He's a dork, and every action seemingly demands full exertion. Once more I'll say it....check out Connor Cook.
  21. It's hard to tell if there might be some (Roman? Whaley?) who feel that Roman is the main ingredient behind Tyrod's success, and that he would work wonders with a top prospect.
