Yep. I consider his music to be banal crap, but what bothers me most is the way he tried to convince the Buffalo fans that he didn't intend to move the team.

"Applause" Remember when MTV had music videos? It's kinda the same thing. Maybe it's the corporate structure that demands growth, that ruins these once great media outlets? They have something good going, then try to expand on their audience, and it kills what made them great. yep

Selfish Bills fans have to take a step back and be objective, Marquise is doing it for America! -
Marquise Goodwin Listed on SI's 50 Fittest List

Who cares. I think I would rather bicker about Robert Woods' value, than swoon over Goodwin. He is useless to the Bills. -

Watkins . . . Woods . . . . . . . Nothin'. -
I'm done talking about this dime-a-dozen wide receiver. If you guys want to continue singing his praises for another 20 pages, it will have to be without me. Adios.
-
I believe he was injured, but how much of a role the injury played in his mediocre performance last season, I'm not sure. Most of the season, he looked like the same Robert Woods he had always been....healthy mediocre WR. Yet, here you are. Again.
-
Oh Greggy, you must be bored.
-
He is mediocre when he is injured, and mediocre when he is healthy....and I can't tell the difference.
-
That wasn't "my take"....my take is we don't know how much his groin was effecting his performance throughout the year (it wasn't until the Redskins that the injury was cited as a problem), that lots of players fall back on claims of injury after poor seasons, and that basically Robert Woods has never been that good of a wide receiver, even prior to the last season. I didn't say there was a quote, I said it's common for players to claim an injury hampered them, after a poor season. Woods may or may not have publicly claimed this, but people here are claiming it for him. I just think he isn't very good, injured or not.

I want them to be as good as possible. They probably will be "fine", as in "good enough to win 10 games, and lose a Wild Card game" (at best, and only if Watkins doesn't miss significant time and the defense improves). But I think better another good WR could pull the offense up a couple notches (and possibly save the season, if Watkins misses time). Like you said, it really comes down to Tyrod, but he should be given the best tools. I think concentrating on defense in the draft was a mistake, because of the situation with Tyrod. Instead, Wrex was given priority (and they blew it with Lawson, short term at least). The thing is, when guys have crap season's, it's common for them to say things like "well, I'm not making excuses, but I had a nagging injury to my xxxxx. But if I'm out there, I gotta be a professional." I think every team has a guy saying this in the offseason. It's hard to know what was really going on. He looked healthy enough to me, he just didn't perform very well.
-
You, and others here, are trying to convince people that this offense is fine with Woods as the #2. I'm not sure who could be brought in, but I hope they are making it a priority. It might be worth making a trade, if necessary. As has been discussed, they have to evaluate Tyrod this season, and he should be given as much help as possible.
-
Her face looks great (makeup, lighting help), unfortunately, how do I put this....."they haven't really figured out how to keep the pipes from rusting out, over time"....you know what I'm sayin'?
-
Cool, Wrex will deliver! I guess we can talk about this at the end of the season (or maybe even earlier). I really doubt the offense or defense will make any big leaps. I expect they will both improve a bit, but I believe adding a better WR would be the position that would improve the offense and help Tyrod most (and allow them to be less dependent on the oft injured Watkins). This Woods ball washing will look silly by season's end. He is Just a Guy, and they will regret not bringing in someone better. Maybe the next draft....
-
So the offense is all set, and reasonably well stocked with talent, amirite? Now it's time to turn the lowly defense into a generational unit like the Ravens, Bears, or Broncos, amirite? It shouldn't take long, which is good, cuz I can't wait.
-
Looks like this offense is set to become a juggernaut. I mean, with a guy like Woods as a number 2, I just can't think of how this offense can be improved. If everyone stays healthy, this should be a top 5 offense, amirite?

Axl Rose taking over lead singer duties for AC/DC?
Prickly Pete replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in Off the Wall Archives
Yeah, I agree. Axl has been cool, and humble. I thought he was a great choice from the start, because his range and the way he distorts his voice is pretty close to Johnson's, and there aren't many guys that have that quality (and can fill arenas). -
I could talk about Robert Woods, all day, every day, year round. Remember Scott Arniel?
-
What about the mints? Is it okay to eat the last one left? In that situation, I usually just take a bite (a small one), and put the rest back for the next guy.

Axl Rose taking over lead singer duties for AC/DC?

I'm guessing that lots of people (even beyond the band) were going to lose lots of money, so they had to work something out, fast. There are all kinds of business/personal relationships involved, and there could be people that would be financially ruined if the tour was cancelled. I don't blame them at all. There are likely people that have helped the band considerably earlier in their career, who they want to come through for. The situation with the band (singer going deaf, only one original member), means that they might not be a viable touring act again, and would be unable to make up any losses (their own, or other people's) later. I expect that if Brian Johnson can still record, they will continue to work with him. I haven't heard anything that leads me to believe there was anything malicious behind the move. -

Robert Woods contract vs. Marvin Jones/Mohamed Sanu
Prickly Pete replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's because they are easy to find. A "core player" of a team that hasn't made the playoffs in 20 years.
