C'mon dude. "Garbage time", when a team with a comfortable lead, gets into a defense designed to limit big plays, and keep the clock running, knowing that the odds greatly favor the clock running out before the losing team can score enough points. It's not complicated, if you are actually interested in something besides being a contrarian.

But he's not really a scapegoat, because Roman sucks. Either Wrex or Roman could have been justly fired today, but we just have to wait for Wrex. I certainly wouldn't be happier if Wrex had been fired instead, and Roman became the Head Coach. Bickering about which one should be fired is kinda ridiculous. They are both done here, and Wrex isn't any better off than Roman. I mean, Wrex still has to come to work, and still has to get ridiculed by the fans, and the press for at least a few more weeks.

I'm happy with what has happened since this post.

This is a 3-13 team.

No, he ruined my hometown football team. He sold the fans snake oil, and made the new owner, and fans look like rubes. I don't want him hurt, or sick, or something terrible to happen to him. I want him to face the problems he has created, not slip away after game 2 of the season with a massive amount of money.

That's the other thing. It would be a travesty to allow Wrex to slip away on vacation, so soon in this debacle. If he were fired today, he could be on the beach in the Carribbean by tomorrow afternoon. I wanna see him squirm for his paycheck. I wanna see him fully exposed as a fraud. I wanna see stupid gimmicks in blowout losses. Idiotic challenges. Can't wait for "lie down in the endzone for the kick-off" type nonsense. He deserves way more public humiliation, before he collect his millions.

Word is "sucks".

My Take On Roman Fired: "changing coordinators during the season will do nothing to help the development Tyrod Taylor or the offense as a whole. " Newsflash!!! The "development" of Tyrod is meaningless at this point. It's all over for him after this season. From this point on, the season is about cleaning up the mess.

I didn't mean to imply that I have high hopes for Cardale. They need to draft a top prospect this next draft. It's just that I consider this season a fail, and want to see what MIGHT be there, in Cardale. They won't have anything more to lose by mid-season. -

Beating up on Tyrod is kinda pointless. Anyone with a mind knows he ain't the answer. He is just one of many guys on the roster that aren't good enough. They need to get Cardale on the field at some point this season (but not too soon), and get his development on the fast track. -
I agree, but I should have made it clearer that I'm talking about successful mid-season changes. I'm wondering if any team has changed the course of a franchise, mid-season, what kind of groundwork can be laid. A good place to start.... http://www.realclearsports.com/lists/top_10_nfl_interim_head_coaches/ They have nothing to lose right now. And they have the rest of this season to play around with. How about talking to the best, most innovative CFL coaches when their season ends in November?

Gailey is currently working for a decent team. I would take him back as an OC next season though. I have to research successful moves by teams in the past. How have teams turned things around in the past? I remember when Green Bay sucked for a long stretch, but somehow changed the course. Seattle too. San Francisco sucked throughout the 70's. The Bills are on a two decade streak of incompetence. This Wrex experiment is over. Changes need to be set in motion right away (even if they aren't known to the public). It's a FAIL. They need to evaluate who they want to keep, who is too old to be part of the new way, and who should be let go. Trade someone...how about Charles Clay? I bet there is a team that believes he can be a good TE for them..maybe get a 6th rounder or some such. Just get rid of someone NOW. Football players can run on fear. Darth Vader (or the Patriots), would spill some blood, because spilled blood needs to be seen. If I owned this team, I would walk into the locker room tomorrow like this... and say "I am committed to winning, and expect the same commitment from employees".

Find the biggest @##hole of a coach, that is currently not working. It's just an interim position anyway.

Did Goodwin get hurt on the last play?

I think Kirby's been drinking...I can understand why.
