  1. Bob Geldof. Listen to him here...just such a wanker. Celebrity virtue signaling. https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2015/sep/04/bob-geldof-jk-rowling-mary-portas-stan-collymore-refugees-welcome A year later... http://blogs.spectator.co.uk/2015/12/so-bob-geldof-where-are-your-refugees/
  2. There probably won't be any problem, if they can get rid of Goodell before Brady is eligible.
  3. "Let's gang up on this guy, he says things we don't like".
  4. I'm not so much worried about this game, I'm worried that it will linger, and get progressively worse.
  5. Tom Brady should be the first guy elected to the Hall ofFame while still an active player.
  6. I'm the guy people in this thread were attacking, because I think it's unlikely that McCoy can stay healthy if he has to carry the team.
  7. Who says I didn't enjoy the wins? I'm just being real about some of the wins. The 49ers might be the worst team in the league (their run defense is the worst). McCoy is doing well, but it's not going to happen every week, and if all the burden is on him each week, it's not gonna work. They need to develop a passing game.
  8. T'aint gonna work. They have to get Sammy back and playing well, or this offense will get shut down. McCoy can't carry the team all season. I guess that makes me a troll, who wants to gloat when the team I have followed all my life, through bad, good, bad, bad, bad, bad, and more bad, has another 9-7 season.
  9. I don't think there is anything they can do. I just don't think their success will continue.
  10. Great, so when week 13 comes around, and he is injured, or not playing nearly as well, you will accept my wisdom?Or will you instead attack me, and claim that I'm gloating over him being injured? I think I know the true answer. If it all goes great, and McCoy carries this team to the playoffs,I will gladly revisit this thread to acknowledge your wisdom. I think they are too thin at running back, to thrive for a complete season as a ground and pound team.
  11. The Falcons haven't won anything. A running back carrying a team is more precarious, because they take lots more hits. Kind of ridiculous to compare QB's to RB's. We shall see. All their eggs are in one basket. If Tyrod (who is running too often) can improve as a passer, and take some of the burden off of McCoy, things might work out.
  12. Hello again, Johnny. He is still taking a pounding. We shall see. At this point the team is riding on McCoy. Good one. I'm gonna bookmark this thread, youz guys are so smart.
  13. 1 & 1A Running Back and Wide Receiver If they are gonna ground and pound, they better have more than McCoy and Gillislee. The first 2 picks should be WR & RB.
  14. He has had a few really good games, but doing that for the rest of the season is gonna wear him down.
  15. It's only been a few games. It will be interesting to see if it all holds up. I'm a bit worried that McCoy will wear down.
  16. Hello again, Johnny. I guess you can hold your breath while he develops, but it seems like he has the same strengths and weaknesses he displayed in college. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1602794-justin-hunter-scouting-report-nfl-outlook-for-tennessee-wr I'm glad he is here, I just don't expect him to become a complete WR. The main complaint about him seems to be his "focus". I'm guessing that may be why he has been released by other teams. He doesn't keep his head in the game for long stretches. Selling a route when you know it's a rushing play, or a play that you are unlikely to get the ball, or getting frustrated by DB's more often than getting thrown to, these things wear on a guy without "focus". It's probably best to just use him sporadically, as a situational player, as opposed to a starter, who has to grapple with a CB play after play. That's much more demanding.
  17. Hunter will probably never be a good route runner. He is a big guy that can be effective in the end zone. At least he has something to offer. I don't expect to see him "moving the chains".
  18. I think they need WR more than another D-lineman or Linebacker, this season. One of those picks should have gone offense.
  19. It looks like they overdid the defense in the draft. Not that they knew it at the time. Considering the glut of D-line talent they now have, it might have been better if they had selected an O-lineman, or wide receiver instead of an injured D-lineman.
  20. I agree that Hillary is just the face of the machine. I am not certain that Trump is, though it's not beyond the pale.
