  1. When people that think a team is boring, it's usually that they don't know their roster because they haven't watched the team play much. The only cure is to see more of the team. There is nothing boring about the Falcons. Switch their uniforms to the Cowboys', and the same people are swooning about them being the most exciting team in a decade.
  2. Uh, the NFL can take it. Why do fans care about the ratings? I mean, do you own stock or something? I think the Falcons would be great to watch because they are a great offensive team, and new kids on the block. Brady and the Patriots were once new, and the ratings probably weren't as good as they would have been with another team, but who gave a !@#$? If the Falcons tear it up, and go back to the next Super Bowl as a hot young team, then the ratings you are so concerned about, will rebound. Time for some new blood. Every league needs to develop new stars, and you would think a guy that's a fan of an outlier team, would appreciate when it happens for a team outside the powerhouse franchises, and not worry about the league's Super Bowl ratings (which will be plenty high regardless).
  3. I couldn't care less about stats, and all that jazz, just watching them play, it's obvious that Rivers is a very good QB with complete command of the offense, and a lot better than Tyrod "what's a 2-minute drill" Taylor. Oh, and no, playing for the Bills has probably not even crossed his mind. But, here's an insider tip, he DREAMS of playing for the Cleveland Browns! Yep, it's true, I heard him say it on a local college radio sports show. He said, as soon as he found out that the Chargers were moving, the team that popped into his mind was "I wanna play for the Browns!". Crazy, huh? Far-fetched that he would want to play for a crappy, cold weather team, on the other side of the country, for a troubled franchise that hasn't been to the playoffs in a long time, but it's all true!
  4. No, just pointing out that there are Bills players (some beloved) that aren't above suspicion. I didn't compare him directly to Harrison, either. The discussion seemed to be going towards a general PED discussion. No "agenda". I love Fred.
  5. Who cares, he is fading out of the rear view mirror.
  6. It's either got to be a guy that's been fired a few times, or a guy that's never been hired (as an OC) before. No one else is fool enough to come to the Bills, especially without a QB. Olson and Childress are probably the best they can do.
  7. And Fred Jackson was just an exceptional human, who beat the odds.
  8. It's all the same, huh?
  9. People are STILL bickering about this?
  10. Well coached teams can use lots of motion, which can make the officials less sensitive to all the movements going on, and less certain about there being an infraction. Crap teams with guys that aren't smart, or haven't mastered the offense, are stuck with a less complex approach. Guess which kind of team the Bills are? And the Patriots?
  11. I think the NFL would do everything it can to keep the team in Miami. The Jags should move. Three NFL teams in Florida seems like a bad idea, anyway. Two teams in LA is going to fail. I agree that the NFL has peaked, but I think a team in Toronto, and maybe Mexico City (what about Vancouver?) might be good ideas. I don't agree that the Bills would be one of the first teams relocated.
  12. I don't know why some people are so sure that Tyrod's fate has already been decided, one way or the other? I think they didn't play him in the last game, because if he was injured, they would have no choice but to pay him. It pissed him off, but it was the right thing to do. I think the Bills are keeping their options open, and there is nothing more to any of this. Certainly, there was no reason to get rid of him before they found a new HC, because most of them would surely realize they don't have anything else to work with, and would at least want the option of keeping him. Now that they have a defensive HC, they probably feel the same way...let the OC at least have Tyrod as an option. There is no reason not to keep him as an option at this point. This.
  13. I don't have a strong opinion of her work, because I've never seen it, but I'm just astonished that I have barely seen her act. I have no interest in stuff like "The French Lieutenant's Woman", or "Postcards from the Edge", but it's not like I only enjoy trashy flicks. I suppose I'm more into directors than actors. Anyway, I was truly astonished, because she is such a prominent actress, but her work is off my map. .
  14. I looked through Streep's long list of film credits, and discovered that the only movies of her's that I have ever seen are "Deerhunter" and "Manhattan" (both smallish, supporting roles). I haven't avoided her, but we have somehow never crossed paths. She means nothing to me, and I have watched a massive amount and variety of movies, from Jess Franco to Eisenstein to Spielberg. It really surprised me, but then again, most of her work is seems to be self-serious drivel.
  15. It's past the point where it's undermining credible criticism. No doubt Trump is going to make big mistakes, and citizens will need to hear valid, insightful criticism. But when they cast his every action as a disaster in waiting, it's impossible to know what is valid, and what is just more noise.
  16. meh, not even close, Pasta. No need for us to bicker, you're out of your mind. I won't respond to you anymore.
  17. I have mentioned here a few times, that "The Case of the Clock Boy" was what triggered my disgust with Progressives. Happy to say, he has lost his lawsuit, but I would be happier if he had never profited in other ways. https://pjmedia.com/trending/2017/01/10/clock-boy-loses-in-court-dads-defamation-lawsuit-dismissed/ !@#$ him, the lying little ingrate, and his awful family.
  18. Pasta thinks his point is important, a real "gotcha", when really it's moot. The point is they came after Trump with a ridiculous story, and it blew up in their faces.
  19. Not what I saw, but then people see what they want to see. I see a guy who has been fighting off unprecedented character assassinations for his entire campaign. At this point it's continuous. "He's Hitler!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
  20. He doesn't own the team.
  21. At this point I wouldn't believe anything from the MSM about Trump. Mostly, it makes me wonder what they lost with Hillary? It all lends credibility to anything Trump might claim. If Trump were to announce a massive conspiracy between say, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Soros, Black Lives Matter, the Muslim Brotherhood, major media outlets, the Supreme Court, the CIA, FBI, and Clinton Foundation, I would be more likely to believe him, than any story the MSM might be pushing.
  22. 3 actions come to mind right away.... If he were to have Special Access Programs on his private server, I would stop supporting him. If I saw evidence that he was planning on allowing a flood of immigrants into the country in order to throw off the balance of the electorate, I would stop supporting him. If he was accepting donations from foreign powers to his private foundations, in exchange for weapons deals (and possibly, support for mass Muslim immigration), I would stop supporting him.
