Just to clarify, I did NOT file a claim. AFAIK, the Ins Co has no rcd of the incident. When it occurred, I called my (independent) agent. They state that I have a $1k deductible and that they would only pay to replace the pane. After getting quotes to replace it, I realized the most prudent choice was to replace the entire door. (Further, the cost to only replace said pane would've been substantially less than my deductible ergo no reason to file.) All done at my out of pocket expense. And to add, I do realize that it was not necessarily prudent to make claim that on something that is only slightly > my deductible. i.e. $1100 claim - $1000 deductible = $100 cash -> $100/yr increase in premium = dumb.

What, are you his ex-wife making sure you get your share of child support? jk. Seriously, IDK. One would logically think, that since we would be the ones that were obligated to pay it b4, we wouldn't be responsible for double payment. Likewise, if someone was cut & signed by another team, we would no longer be responsible for payment, sorta like coaches contracts, except they renegotiate terms. Again, the above is only my opinion on what I think would be fair.

Already have $1000 deductible, which I found out this yr. 1st opportunity for a claim - a pane on a sliding glass door"spontaneously" broke. Unfortunately, insurance will only cover the cost of replacing the pane (~$500, so no coverage ). 20 yr old door, so I ended up replacing the whole thing (~$1400) myself. Thanks for the definitive info Loyal, perhaps it's time to go shopping again.

Anyone else experience this? Policy went for $363 to $459 even after removing a couple of riders they wanted to add. I think if anything, my house went down in value. I don't see any other changes. Comments? Personal experiences/observations? TIA

If one is to believe Fewell's MO, it'll be Chroise starting. Although he's limited, he knows the system well. Though Brohm is the better prospect, we are led to believe he'd flounder in our system as he's unfamiliar w/ it. As I don't have enough info to know whether or not Brohm knows things well enough, I don't have a strong preference. I would rather see either relative to Fitz. I'll concede that Fitz's accuracy is sometimes handicapped by our poor pass blocking, but even when he has time, I think his accuracy is suspect & therefore should be relegated to solid backup status. I'd REALLY like to see Johnson & Hardy as WRs.

Trent & Fitz. B Scott looks to have been knocked silly. & McGee.

Slow And Absolutely Boring. Actually, I find it interesting that the 2 lines that arguably had the most merit (Saab & Saturn) are those that GM can't manage to make viable. Disappointing, too.

Interview question I am faced with.....
eSJayDee replied to The Poojer's topic in Off the Wall Archives
That's a very vague question. Gold is typically measured in Troy ounces, not pounds or tons. Also, if it's verbal, is it a ton or tonne? Long ton, metric ton, etc. Is there such a thing as a Troy ton? If not, how/when do you convert? FWIW, there's not 16 ounces in a Troy pound. 20? IIRC, there's abit over 7 Troy ounces/avoir dupois (sp?) pound. You have the potential to impress the interviewer, then again, you can make yourself look like an ass (like I likely did ). -
Tree went up Thanksgiving. Still haven't finished tinseling it yet.

Interview question I am faced with.....
eSJayDee replied to The Poojer's topic in Off the Wall Archives
There's a fundamental flaw in your assumption. There is NOT a ball/hole in the air at all times, in fact I'd be inclined to think that is seldom the case. Consider that a typical round of golf lasts about 4 hrs and during that time you typically only have about 40 shots that are airborne. Just guessing on avg they stay airborne for 5 seconds. Given those facts, you can approach the problem any # of ways. I'll leave that up to you. -

Dontcha love this headline
eSJayDee replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Article sez only 4 players on their roster have ever played a game for another team, 2 of which are kickers (Vinieteri & Stover). An aside, why do they have 2 kickers? One hurt? -
Time Warner-NFL Network Bills-Jets Game

Not on CW-15 according to the (TW supplied) listings as of this morning. -
Back in '82, the game b4 the strike, IIRC against the Vikings, was either on a Tues or a Thurs. (I remember who I had dinner w/ that nite b4 going to the game.) I'm assuming it was a Thurs, as I don't ever recall Tuesday games.

Dick Jauron photoshopped out of team photo?
eSJayDee replied to joshfitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It likely was pieced together, i.e. Photoshopped. It appears that Ralph's shadowing is different from everyone else, too. FWIW, Byrd appears to be slightly in front of Florence, which might cause the apparent hgt disparity, as well; it does look like he was pieced in. -

Switzerland bans construction of minarets

(speaking of Homer) I read that as "Marionette" & wondered, 1) why would they ban the production of marionettes & 2) WTF would Muslims care about that for. -
I seem to recall seeing somewhere the Giants game was telecast here, presumably by one of the local networks. Was it shown & by whom? I realize that this past week being Thanksgiving might mean that there's no much to preempt whereas this coming week there might be. FWIW, I believe we're considered 2ndary mkts for both the Giants & Jets. Thx.

Shanahan met with Bills for 7 hours over 2 days
eSJayDee replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bear in mind, an (good) interview is a give & take proposition. Shanahan knows stuff, and people. Much as the interview process is of benefit to applicants (a significant reason for the Rooney Rule), considering presumably how clueless our decision makers are, this was probably of considerable benefit to them as well. Ergo the lengthy discussions.
