  1. Not sure what the debate is. Its going to be the guy from Carolina. Good GMs want total control and the Pegulas messed up and are giving that to Mcdermott.. Therefore its gonna have to be someone that knows the HC. Most teams don't give total control to the head coach. This is such a mistake.
  2. Yea hes going to the only guy thats 100% with coach that they have.
  3. It would be ideal, but no way he comes here and not have 100% total control. Coach with that much say, especially a first time coach will hinder any quality GM from coming here.
  4. Honestly all of them. But definitely Barnage, floyd and Byrd
  5. a 7th rounder? for one of the most talented WR in the NFL. Thank god your not running the Bills. Mean while the bills would get a 3rd round Comp pick at least if he leaves and you wanna trade him for a 7th rounder. Smart
  6. I don't like any of the WR that are left. I definitely don't want one tonight. I think by passing on guys like Howard the dude from miami and engram, it tells us the bills have a lot of faith in Logan Thomas. Thomas, Holmes are two HUGE WR threats.
  7. No that can't be it, your response makes too much sense... You nailed it!
  8. You people realize that if the Bills had just average Defensive play last year that they'd of made the playoffs. TT can absolutely take them there. The offense can regress a little, but if the D progresses they will be in the playoff hunt this year.
  9. Kelly could've been a 1st round pick had he not go hurt. He has shown signs of maturing. Whoever gets him will get a steal.
  10. I don't hate it, but if Mixon is available I'd take him over Kamara. The Bills have been bad for so long I don't care about character. I'd take Aaron Hernandez, and Rae Carruth right about now.
  11. Trade both 3s to move back into the 2nd. Draft zay jones, and Derek Rivers.
  12. If OJ Howard is available at 10 and the Bills don't take him. I think that says they have a lot of faith in Logan Thomas and are willing to take a shot with him. I personally keep forgetting about him. Could be a big time under the radar move.
  13. high school football practice, hopefully home in time for the Bills pick
  14. I agree i like what TT brings, and feel he can lead the Bills to the playoffs. I feel the Bills should start building more around him. This year is a big year for him and hopefully he improves even more.
  15. I understand, again using him as an example. But if they were to draft a qb 10 overall TT is not the future. If they can then flip him for a 2 they would need to bring in a vet like cutler.. Cutler isn't much worse than TT. If anything he still is the better QB. His problem is he is uncoachable.
  16. A) why not B) I was just using him as an example.
  17. If the QB the Bills want falls to 10, Do you then try and trade TT to a team like Denver for their 2nd. Then sign a vet off the street like Cutler?
  18. If hes on the way out, he'll pretty much have no say. But if he truly hired McDermitt I don't see why they would then fire Whaley.
  19. This is exactly what I am thinking. Their 1st next year to move back into the 1st for a player that they really want.
  20. any one else have a feeling the Bills are going to do something drastic this weekend? Ex trade back into the 1st round, or trade a vet for a 1st or 2nd round pick.
  21. Lot of teams do it, we even do it at the high school level. I doubt they do it everyday, or for every period.
  22. Keep drafting specifically for a coach and this is what it gets you. 18years and no playoffs. Yes they work together, and when it comes down to a player thats a toss up the GM may go with what the coach wants. In the end its the GM job to find talent, the coaches job to coach talent. If everyone does their job you can put together a solid squad. Scouts spend their lives perfecting their craft. As do coaches. Coaches coach, scouts scout players play.
  23. You don't draft specifically for a coach. It is the GM job to bring in the best players that he can. The coach is getting paid to coach them up and put them into a position to succeed. Should they work together yes, But strictly drafting to a coaches strengths gets you where the bills are today. Gather the talent let the coaches do what they do best. Coach!
  24. But yet the bills are no better than the day whaley was promoted. You don't let production like MG walk for that salary. Same with Hogan. There is no vision by whaley. You keep Hogan let woods walk. not bad. You keep MG, knowing that when hes been in theres been no drop between him and McCoy. Its always 1 step forward and 3 steps back with this team. If people think a RB with fumbling issues, that looked below average last year is going to fill MG shoes your mistaken. Not to mention McCoy is pushing 30, and who knows when father time will hit him.
  25. Bills with more cap space, and less invested in the backfield (including qb) let a talented player walk. But the Saints W way more invested in the backfield, give AP 3.5million annually. This is why the Bills haven't been good. You can;t let quality players leave when the contract is reasonable, and when your offense is based on the Run. Arguably the 2nd best player on offense just went to the best team in the NFL. But, people think that last years rookie will easily step in. You mean the guy that fumbles about every 70xs he touches the ball. This team is a total joke.
