If reports of the Bills not looking to extend Sammy are true, and for those fans that think hes a bust. His first 3 years compare very similar to Julio Jones first three. and Julio has Matt Ryan throwing to him JJ 34 games played 174 receptions, 2737yds 20tds sammy 37 games played 153 receptions 2459yds 17tds Neither the Bills nor anyone should really be dogging sammy, and if the Bills let him walk it'd be a total joke. The stats are very comparable, if anything Sammy is the more productive WR based on the qbs he has had throwing to him.

We couldve had tom brady 5 times before the Pats took him
-
I'd be surprised but he has the size strength and speed to go that early. Playing at that level hurts him a little but playing in the MVC helps a little.

The Bills had Rivers in today to work out and interview. They need to find a way to get this kid. Don't see him lasting much pass the 4th, and right now they dont have a 4th rounder. May take their 3rd round pick to get him.

No Gilmore, No Woods, No Brown, No Chance

Though you may be right, its not because woods, brown and gilmore left. Woods will hurt the most as of right now, but the other 2 I'm not worried too much about. Gilmore is good, but not worth the crazy money he got. Brown really isn't that good, fans just liked the story. -

Yea the bills may get a fifth round or later, but that doesnt have any value to the bills based on his production. No team is trading a 1-3rd pick for a RB at age 29. History says he has 1 maybe 2 more good years left.

Washington Fires GM Scot McCloughan

We all have our faults, as long as he is doing his job and not hurting anyone I mean who really cares. The bills should be doing everything they can to win, and this guy is a proven winner. -

pass drinking issues have been confirmed, but nothing since he arrived in Washington has been confirmed to be an issue. The guy has a great talent, a true football talent evaluator. Buffalo needs to start winning. Allen firing him is a joke. Allen use to be an agent, he didn't come up through the ranks of scouting.Only inner NFL circles no the truth about McCloughan. Could really help this team -

If the reports of him still having a huge drinking problem are bs, the Bills should seriously consider hiring him. One of the most respected talent evaluators in the NFL. -
The Chargers tried trading LT before they cut him and he went to the jets. No one would make an offer. LT was 10xs the back McCoy is. McCoy would only be worth trading if the Bills got a 1-3 round pick, and that just would not happen. If Lynch comes back and the Raiders trade for him that'd be interesting to see what Seattle gets... Now the idea of trading Wood I like, never thought of that. Team seemed to do fine without him, and a team may be willing to offer a high pick. I'd say Wood has the highest value, as trading him I dont think hurts the team all that much.
-
No team at his age and salary would ever trade for him. He has no value on the trade market. To think otherwise is foolish.
-
I dont think the Bills should trade any players unless blown away. I'm just curious as to peoples opinions.. Whaley has drafted a little better than he gets credit for.
-
I dont think a 30yr old runningback has any trade value
-
Who is the player on this team with the most trade value?, and would you trade that player? I think the obvious answer is Watkins, and there's no way I trade him unless its a big offer.
-
anybody not on board drafting QB at 10 is a *****
dbflaBill replied to 17 Josh Allen's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Draft 2 qbs and you have to cut 1. So you totally waste 1 pick. QB at 10 in a draft with a bunch of EJ manuels, I don't think so. It makes no sense for this team to draft a qb that high in this draft. -
Preston Brown on the Trading Block?
dbflaBill replied to KGun12TD's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The bills can't afford to trade any players away considering they have no depth. Brown is the best LB the bills have, got to figure a way to get him on the field and be successful. -
Well they signed mike adams, So right now Boston would be backing him up.
-
I can't argue with that. But He was Michigan's best player, they did their best to find ways for him to make an impact. Shaq Lawson had a strong year, and I think Jalen Ramsey will be just fine.
-
Here's a little something to think about. Would the Bills trade a 4th( if they get one) or a 5th to the panthers for Tre boston. Played fairly well in Carolina, hes young only started 1 year, knows the the D. Would cost as much as a rookie.
-
Well if you dont have a first round grade on him then that settles it. No peppers. He fits the type of player Mcdermit would like. Can play multiple positions. Wouldn't love it, but wouldn't hate it
-
They had to let Gilmore walk based on the contract he got. No way could the Bills have been able to afford him. letting him walk was money issue, and I'm ok with it.
-
I am more comfortable with him starting at corner, than Humber starting at OLB.
-
Based off of the updated depth chart which position appears to be the most glaring need. IMO Holmes at number 2 is a lot better than Humber as the starting OLB. Kevon at the other corner I feel will be just fine. Getting more of a sense that this team is gonna go heavy on the defense (at least first 2 rounds) before they start addressing the O. I feel the Team will go LB/DB DB/LB in the first 2 rounds.
