  1. I didnt even last that long. We all know the offense is bad till we get a QB. But, what was very disturbing to me was the defense, Good grief. Worse I've ever seen. Washingtons' taxi squad ran over them like they weren't even there. If todays game is any indication, we are in trouble. EJ...we'll see what he has but so far he has a 2 minute drill to his credit against 2nd stringers. Other than that he's done nothing. Kolb is VERY iffy. Tuel belongs in the Arena football league. He sucks badly. I'm depressed. And....Coach Marrone looked pretty lost all afternoon.
  2. Very nice tribute. Sorry for your loss, Sir. Condolences. Joe B.
  3. Nope. But...I'd just like to say I'm glad his name doesn't start with, or have the letter "J" in it. Otherwise, instead of the "J Train" (suggested in a previous thread) as a name for our team, it would have been "Smokin J's !! So that makes me happy, well sort of. Just messin with ya, 3rd, ole buddy !!!
  4. The J train. I like it.
  5. Actually the QB wearing #3 is an imposter. They had the imposter fake an injury to fool New England. They are playing the game of Bellicheat. The real EJ is fine and will start week #1. S'all good, man.....and remember...its only a game Bro !
  6. IMO, from a "glass half full" perspective . If you consider Kevin Kolb as our back-up QB which I suspect will be the case fairly early in the season, I think we've got one of the better "back-ups" in this league. In the top 30 percentile is a guess as I really havent researched all the league back-ups. That really puts us in a good position from a back-up QB standpoint. If the pre-season and TC are any indication, injuries seem to be getting more and more common, unfortunately. So, I still think Kolb was a smart pick up by Marrone. Having a Vet back-up is a good thing if EJ goes down.
  7. ....and I'll second that prediction.
  8. Don't recall where I saw it now but Freddy has a bit of a chip on his shoulder. I recall him saying that folks think he is too old. He said he is out to prove them wrong and has worked his butt off in the off-season to be in the best of physical condition. Perhaps this could account for some of that weight gain ?
  9. Watching this re-run of the Friday game here. To me this team looks quite a bit better judging only from these 2 pre-season games. As depressed as I am about EJ getting injured I take some solace in seeing an aggressive defense with some nice play makers, a special teams that is playing well and a good strong running game. We may well have enough weapons to do some damage with or without EJ. His speed and athleticism is an asset we can really use. I think we'll be OK. Yes, I watched Kolb throw 3 passes that were behind his receiver. He really didnt look all that bad other than that. Not even sure the pic was his fault. He needs to get rid of the ball quicker though. EJ's scoring drive was sweet. The running game did play a large part in that drive. The read on the short TD pass was an excellent piece of work by EJ. This team may well have enough talent (and coaching) to absorb the loss of EJ which as we all hope is short lived.
  10. ^^^Good to hear this.^^^ The injury bug hit Cleveland in its pre-season game against Detroit. http://www.sbnation....s-injury-browns The Cleveland Browns won their preseason game Thursday night, but at the expense of several costly injuries. Running back Dion Lewis is out indefinitely with a fractured fibula, rookie linebacker Barkevious Mingo was hospitalized with a bruised lung, and offensive guard Jason Pinkston had to be carted off the sideline with a right ankle injury. Any of the three injuries, if proven to be serious, would be a serious blow to the Browns.
  11. Neck / spinal injury from a helmet to helmet collision. Lets hope he recovers from this.
  12. Sure does, Bro. Sure does.
  13. Keep in mind though....we have an improved defense it appears, a decent O-line, a good running game, special teams and defensive secondary well I'm not really sure. Point is, we may still do some damage even if our rookie QB is out. I'm thinking he'll be ready before week 4. Sure hope so anyway.
  14. Man of Glass? Obviously EJ is made of glass based on your research. He hurt his knee in a pre-season game. So obviously he is a VERY bad QB. Just like Kolb. Getting hurt means you are a bad QB. If you dont believe me, just pick a thread and the light will come on. If a QB gets hurt....he is no good and thats all there is to it. Tuel is healthy though. Must be he's a hall of famer ey? Wow, this is great !
  15. Neat thread. Thanks everybody. Love the history aspect of all of this !
  16. As a fan of the game of football I really hate hearing this. Thanks for the depressing update, Sir. Hate injuries. Takes away from the entertainment value when all-pro's go down.
  17. Excellent analysis on your part as well. Many thanks for that !
  18. Fire the coach tomorrow at 7:30 am. There, ya happy now? Obviously he doesnt know what he is doing, right? But...you obviously do. You are there at the meetings, the evaluations, training camp, pre-season games etc. You are in the know. We will listen to your unparallelled wit from here on in. You know what you are talking about. Many thanks.
  19. Thank you. Someone here gets it. Thank you very much, Sir.
  20. Yup. Go ahead, Mr Marrone. Just keep on hating. Just keep hating Kolb. You sound like you have a tremendous amount of knowledge. Just keep on hating Bro. Boo as loud as you can. And then Boo again when your potential bust of a #1 round draft pick stinks up the place. EJ is made of glass and you know it. He gets hurt in a pre-season game? Must be he sucks, just like Kolb ey, Einstein ? Using your convoluted short bus logic. You are the first and definately not the last I'll be putting on the ignore list. So clueless on so many levels and a great fan of some team...not sure which team but it sure as hell aint Buffalo. Have mommy make you a glass of chocolate milk and STFU. You have nothing whatsoever intelligent to add to the situation. This site is a joke. Well, no. The fans of Buffalo are a joke. Pretty sure I'm done here. Good God. What a bunch of idiots. That right there is heady stuff. Brilliant. Simply brilliant. Must be EJ sucks ey meathead? Yea, he got hurt. Just like Kolb. You've said ad nauseum that Kolb sucks because he got hurt. Obviously EJ sucks too since he got hurt. Yea, I think I have this whole thing figured out. Bills fans, the smartest football fans on the planet. Yupper !! Loser.
  21. Now there is a real Bills fan. Idiot. Move to Philly. You have less class than even those fans.
  22. ^This here^. All you Kolb haters. Relax. Without Kevin we have no one to go against New England. Unless EJ is healed by then its gonna be Kolb. He is a much bigger asset to this team than half of you realize. We need him. Bad. Love him or hate him you have to route for him. He is on our team and ....yes....we need him. Joke: EJ is made out of glass. Cut him now and cut your losses !! LOL ! I am OK with this because I think Kolb comes around and plays well enough to not lose. Remember folks, we have some weapons that Arizona didnt have. A much better offensive line. Relax. Kolb is gonna be OK. He'll get into his groove and play well enough to keep us in the hunt until EJ comes back. Frankly, if Kolb gets hurt we are screwed however. I'm not sold on Tuel. Hope I'm wrong but he'll hurt us bad in the regular season if push comes to shove. He'll be OK some day, but not just yet.
