[closed]THE RETURN OF MR. 2011
jaybee replied to FredJackson4Ever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Really not a debate I want to have, but the one thing the OP said and is "spot on" is Freddy can block. Good grief he put on a clinic in that game against Baltimore. No, you wont see it in the stats, or any of that fantasy jargon but thats a huge benefit that many fans dont seem to realize. -
He did have a few that were great fakes. He had a few sloppy ones too. OT...what bothers me is the strange mechanics of his throwing motion when read #1 is not there. Sometimes looks more like a shot-put heave than a football pass. He needs more time to develop obviously.

He'll be starting for 4-8 weeks based on the report I just heard on the Radio. Fitz was a good pick up for that team. I wish him well.

Win #2 - Who gets your game ball?
jaybee replied to SageAgainstTheMachine's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I voted for Aaron but Marcell and Kiko were right there. I guess I went with Williams because he's gotten a lot of bad press and the kid just proved what he is capable of and that was an impressive showing I thought. Especially since it was so badly needed given all the secondary injuries and facing a dangerous passing game. Man that was great ! -
Official Prediction Thread: BALvsBUF
jaybee replied to Buffalo Beeeews's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Same result but a little more scoring. Bills 27-20. They are gonna surprise us today after laying an egg last week. We will be back on track going into the Thursday nighter. -
Long sustained drives by the O. Win the TOP battle.

Official Game Day Thread: Ravens at Bills 9-29-2013

Yup...and thats why pressuring Joe F is critical to our success today defensively. A turnover or 3 wouldnt hurt either. LOL ! -

Especially if the Bills are pressuring Flacco, stopping the run, and Fred / CJ are running lights out. If we cant pressure Flacco I think its gonna be a long day with our beat up secondary. -
Agree. Its almost as though the actual season is anti-climatic. I like what the OP said here to start the thread. "Just watch the games" and evaluate the good and bad. This is exactly where I'm at and its all good.

Official Prediction Thread: BALvsBUF
jaybee replied to Buffalo Beeeews's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Surprisingly (to me) the Ravens are just 3 point favorites. I'd have guessed higher than that. Really hoping to see a different team than we saw last week. It could happen. But...if I were a betting man I'd have a hard time picking Buffalo in this one. -
My ninth birf-day is just around the corner. I figger I'll be kind of mature when #10 hits. So...you dont have to worry about me. But yea....seriously....I dont spend much time here any more. A lot of young pop culture fans. And....Fantasy geeks. Not a lot of fans of the game of football. Knee-jerk "hey lets cut everybody" kind of fans. The place sucks hard. Unfortunately. But...during the off-season you will know what is going on around the league by being signed up and that to me, is the value of this site.

+1. When EJ's 1st read is there he releases it quickly and usually makes a good throw. If the 1st read is covered...this is where I get concerned. At least as seen against the Jets. The kid really looked lost when read 1 was not there and Rex...to his credit had a lot to do with that. Maybe just maybe this Jets game gives the whole shootin match from top to bottom a wake up call and our guys come back swingin hard against the Ravens. A big win against Baltimore would cure us...for now anyway! LOL ! So many injuries though. Damnit man.

Experts/analysts seem to be picking Jets
jaybee replied to judman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Certainly the Jets arent the cream puff everyone thought they were early on. I see no reason though why this game wont be won by Buffalo. I think its the 1st legit defense we'll go against even though the panthers are no slouch. If we can pressure Geno I think he'll become rattled, scared and nervous. EJ will get pressure but the kid is composed. He'll be fine. I'm pretty confident here. I'm thinking a close game that our defense will pull out for us. I'll throw out 23-20 Buffalo as my WAG for this game. -

Boomer Esiason this morning: "Both teams are 1-1 but The loser of this game will be 0-2 in the division so the Jets really need this one. I'm pickin the Jets" WTF was that ?? -
Who tops your list of "he's just not cuttn' it?" Who d
jaybee replied to Armchair GM's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No point, Bro. If we win the super bowl these guys will still cry like little bitches.....about anything and everything. I guess it makes them happy...and real. It makes me scarce. -

We've got a lot to look forward to this year and in the years ahead........and here is TBD....right here....right now.........fishing for negative. What a joke. -
Mike Pettine Appreciation Thread
jaybee replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
WOW ! He's coached 2 nfl games. 1-1. Do you think that maybe, just maybe thats a premature decision ? LMAO ! -
and...if it didnt work you all would be chastising Ralph, EJ. Woods, Marrone, Hacket, Doug, O-line, the long snapper, the punter, the place-kicker etc. Cut EJ. Cut Woods. Cut the O-line. Cut the refs. Cut the cheer-leaders. Just cut everybody....tomorrow at 6:00am. Lose all games and get Johnny sh*t-ball.....and on and on. This board is loaded with simpletons. God bless the 2 or 3 folks that have a clue here. I for one am happy we won a game against a struggling opponent. Hey you gotta start somewhere.

Excellent. Thanks for that. I've been wondering what was up. -
Bills game not being shown in Utica/Rome area :(
jaybee replied to pepsicat17's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well, at least the guy was man enough to admit it was his stations mistake, not that it makes it any better. Thats odd though. At least its a sell-out so you can get somewhere that is showing the game and still see a big win by Buffalo. -
Jets or Pats* on TNF - can't decide

I dont get it either. Hell, at work its all they talk about. On the computer for hours on end. To each his own I guess. Hats off to the NFL though. They came up with a way to get a lot of non football fans to watch games. Marketing ingenuity. I'll stick with my fantasy water polo. LOL !!

As the OP said, front 7 is legit. Kuekle is amazing. His ability to read the QB is uncanny. I saw Star have a few good plays in the pre-season too. I think he's going to be a fantastic player. If you ignore the QB and HC's, frankly I think Carolina is possibly a better team than NE. From a personnel standpoint. Its really pretty close actually but yes, I dont have a lot of confidence in Rivera. I'm not sold on Cam either. Great ability but he seems to lack some poise and confidence at times. Should be a good game. OP, I hope your Panthers play a GREAT game....in a losing cause ! LOL ! Please...NO INJURIES on EITHER team. EDIT: If I'm reading the link right it looks like Carolina is a 5 point favorite at the moment. http://www.vegasinsider.com/nfl/odds/las-vegas/

Bills have 5th toughest schedule to start season
jaybee replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You should hate it because what you say is absolutely correct. Maybe these media types are lazy? Who knows, but almost all of them make their predictions based on last year. Useless to me. Additionally they will say a team is going to be way better because they signed a certain player in the off season. As though the chemistry is going to be identical to his last team and his performance will be the same. Not realistic. The good teams dont necessarily have a heavy dose of stars, they have chemistry among their team mates and coaches. I think the New England Patriots are a pretty good example.
