  1. Ed told him he saved 15% on his auto insurance by switching to Geico.
  2. Agree. People said (and say) the same thing about Peyton Manning. Sure, they may have lost a step but their wisdom more than makes up for it. Comparing Cam to Brady is a stand-up comic act IMO. Cam has a long way to go, if he ever gets to that level at all. Love the Carolina D though. If they win (and I dont believe they will) it'll likely be because of their defense. They are a good bunch for sure.
  3. Not buying it. If this were true Kiko would have caught him.
  4. Well, I'll eat crow on this one. He really showed us something today. Very proud of EJ. A big stepping stone for him today. Happy..happy ..happy !
  5. Darn racist !! JK of course !
  6. Yea, I hear ya bro. I may actually miss some of it if it isn't raining but yea, you sound about as sick as a whole bunch of us and I mean that in a good way !
  7. Yes, a wildcard playoff birth. They've got a good enough D to have a legitimate shot at a wildcard IMO.
  8. Should be pretty warm though. I think its in the low 60's tomorrow, but yes rain and winds in the afternoon. Or so they say !!
  9. Well, so far I'm not too excited about our #1 pick, so theres that too.
  10. Obviously I'm as hard core a Bills fan as anyone. Sundays game however I'm as interested in watching the Jets as I am Buffalo. They have a D that is fun to watch, a promising QB of the future and a coach I absolutely respect. We are out of the mix this year anyway, so a loss would be more beneficial than a win but of course I want to see the Bills win. I was not in the camp that said the Jets would struggle. I was afraid they'd be competitive, especially after Sanchez went down. I dont see them winning the division but a wild card birth wouldnt surprise me in the least. They are no joke. They are a legitimate contender. Hats off to them.
  11. ......and assisting EJ on breaking down film. Totally agree.
  12. They are playing a talented Colts team. A team that got beat badly against an inferior (on paper) opponent in the Rams.. I fully expect the Colts to beat Tennessee tonight. I expect Indy to be at their best after last weeks embarrassment. They are a better team...again...on paper. But...as much as I like Andrew I've got to route for Fitz tonight. He was a good Bill IMO and landed where he did because of a front office malfunction.
  13. I also doubt I was drafted #16 in the NFL and look as inept as EJ Manuel does. And to bash Fitz now to cover up how bad EJ is (as 26 does routinely) is equally comical. Like I've said forever, I wish EJ to be a HOF er for our team. Lead us to the promised land and all of that. But lets be real. So far he has looked pretty darn inept in the NFL.
  14. Sure hope so brother, Sure do hope so !!
  15. Probably lower than the odds you bash him before that. Whats the over-under on Fitz outplaying EJ ? My guess, 100-zero. Fits aint Joe Montana, but EJ is like having me out there. He's horrible and I'll say it till he shows me different.
  16. Actually I'm wrong. Fitz was 22-29 for 264 and 2 TD's. Say whatever you want EJ apologists, Fitz is clearly a better QB than EJ at this point in time. He knows the game and would have been an outstanding mentor for EJ. Dont get me wrong. I like EJ...a lot. But...I am a very frustrated fan of this team. I expected big things from EJ year one, and yes I get that this is the exception and not the rule. But...these next 6 games are critical and as I've said before: if EJ doesn't start to look like he has what it takes then the conversation of what to do at the QB position needs to be had....yet again. Yea, EJ's had a few flashes of brilliance but overall he just really hasnt looked the part. To me anyway.
  17. Yea right. He was 22-33 last week. 264 yards and 2 TD's. He also ran for one. About 7yards or so. Good thing our QB is so much better than Fitz. Ryan Fitzpatrick has forgotten more than EJ will ever know about being a QB in the NFL.
  18. But his knowledge didn't. Ed is in the film room. With a bunch of young DB's. He will help them break down film. He will teach them from a players perspective. He will probably get in the game Sunday too. He'll not only teach the young DB's of the Jets, but he'll remind a draft bust rookie QB what its like once again to go against an excellent defense. EXCELLENT signing for the Jets as they hunker down for their playoff run. They are a well coached good football team, make no mistake about it.
  19. Apparently he'll continue to play. "Ongoing investigation". May affect his Heisman stock I suppose. I had no idea this was a year old. It is the first I've heard about it.
  20. Sex allegations of some sort. Heard on Matthews show. Breaking news.
  21. As do I, but cant even begin to argue otherwise. Geno, while inconsistent has made quite a few NFL caliber throws. I think I can count on one hand the number of NFL throws EJ has made. Geno is fun to watch. You know he has the ability to light it up. EJ? Well, the next time he lights it up will be his 1st. Marrone needs to evaluate this kid and let him play wide open the rest of the season. He needs to know if the kid has even an ounce of potential in this league. If he was wrong on EJ (I know I certainly was) he needs to take action sooner, rather than later. My guess is EJ will be a career back-up QB. Yea, its early to say that but my god he just doesnt look like he belongs. I hope I can eat a lot of crow on that too, believe me.
  22. I over-reacted to the poorly played game like many others Sunday. I'm routing hard for EJ. Yes he's been a bit disappointing in a few areas. He looks more like an undrafted free agent than he does a 1st rounder...so far. IMHO of course. I'm not calling for a new QB just yet, but I think if nothing else we need to objectively evaluate EJ in these remaining 6 games. If he doesn't improve then I think there at least has to be a conversation about picking up another one next year. Not necessarily pulling the trigger, but it would have to come up in conversation, and be considered.
  23. I like it and its the absolute truth. Many thanks for that.
  24. Early on in todays radio call this was discussed. They said Big Ben is unhappy with the way things are going in Pitt and will ask for a trade at the end of the season. That was Joe B talking...I think ? We play them today so any distraction is a good thing...IMHO of course.
  25. He got us to 4 Super Bowls in a row. He can say whatever he wants IMO.
