Most definitely agree. Maybe he's just not quite ready for that yet. Who knows ? At some point the game will slow down for him. He'll be a good one when that happens. No better stepping stone than beating the Fish tomorrow. Man, I haven't anticipated a game like this in quite some time. Cant damn wait. GO BILLS !

Adrian Peterson indicted in child injury case
jaybee replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I will never look at Peterson the same way I have ever again. Ashamed of him. And...I think what gets lost in all of this are the young folks that idolize him. High school kids etc. I'd be crushed if I were a young kid and my biggest NFL hero let me down like that. Not exactly a role model you want your kid to idolize. One thing for sure, Adrian wont be in the running for father of the year. What a disgusting story. -
I like that there nugget, Dollars to donuts. Thanks. I am so stoked for this game. We as fans just need to keep a level head. Our team is totally capable of winning Sunday. There are a few intangibles in our favor as well. But we've been thru this. Lets keep a level head. Just my opinion. Having said that, there is no way I will have a voice left Monday morning if we do what we are totally capable of doing. Good execution, low turnovers, efficient game management at the QB position, effective running game and fly around defense. This team is capable of all of that and even if they are effective at only 60% of it we head out of there with a gigantic win. Its early but this is a Mack-truck sized game. A must win game. Division opponent at home. Huge. I know damn well this team is capable of it. And please...NO INJURIES for either team. It hurts me to see guys get hurt regardless of what team they play for. Stay healthy boys and give it the best you got and may the best team win. That'd be Buffalo ! LOL !

Weekly "Ref's for Bills game" thread
jaybee replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
FWIW.....One of the radio guys (Might have been Ben Maler ?? dont remember for sure) was saying that there is "intel" out there on officiating crews. Teams will look at it and see if there is any tendencies about how any given crew calls games. I have no idea if this is true or just more baloney but an interesting nugget none-the-less. -
Chandler. I get your disgust with EJ. But, C'mon man. He really wasn't too bad today. I'm as nervous about him as you are but today...while not lighting it up he did play well enough to get a "W". Enjoy the moment, Bro.

They had the Steelers sweating though. I was proud of the Browns. Really wish they'd pulled it off. Gritty team right there. They remind me of my beloved Bills....and thats why I like em.

I marinated my crow in New England clam chowder for 4 days. Slow cooked it. A lot of smoke. No mirrors. I am very happy with the outcome.

I guess I'm in the minority but Cutler has my respect. If he's on, be worried about Cutler. If we rattle him we've got a shot.

I'll have the game crankin up loud on the Harley. Really want to watch the darn thing but hey...ya gotta do whatcha gotta do. GO BILLS !! -
Week 1: Bears' Game Preparation

I'm going to watch this with a positive attitude. I dont think Chicago has a stellar run defense and we have some running backs. If they can establish a running game it should provide some level of comfort for EJ, which he needs at this point of his development. Conversely, I'm concerned about Chicago moving the ball on our D through the air. Good receivers out there in Chicago, and Cutler despite all the critics is as sharp a QB as I've seen when he's on. Maybe the recent strife in Buffalo, be it real, or just a smear campaign on Marrone will actually fire up the troops. Bring on Chicago. We wont go down without a fight. GO BILLS !! -
WNYTBDGPS Meeting Friday 9/12? Anyone interested?
jaybee replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What time, man ? -
......and that is very useful information. Much appreciated. Keep that coming...please. It does sound like I'm not the only one questioning this curious move. If CJ gets hurt....especially now with recent developments, it could be yet another nail in the coffin of Coach Marrone. I'm a big fan of Coach Doug but I am starting to wonder a little bit. Almost seems like he doesn't have the team behind him. But...its probably just the media creating its' normal junk. Creating controversy. Selling advertising. All of that stuff. Whatever the case: winning cures all ills and if we eek out a win week one on the road this will all be forgotten. Maybe CJ will even take one to the house ! How cool would that be ? I'll eat crow right here if he does. Gladly. Many thanks everybody.

No question he could add some spark to special teams. Not sure I like the idea though. The risk of injury concerns me. Granted, many kick-offs go out of the end zone these days but losing him to injury on a kick off would be a bummer. What do you guys think of this move? Questionable move ??.........or am I just a nervous nelly dope to worry about something silly like this ? Thanks.

Its Bush's fault.

Tony Moeaki Released from Injured Reserved
jaybee replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Guys help me out here. What does this mean ? Is he now off the team ? Thanx. -
Well, OP might be right. If EJ struggles badly...and obviously no one wants to see that; throwing the vet in might make good sense. I want to see everyone succeed. Mostly the organization. I'd be OK if they started Kyle in the 1st quarter of the season if thats what the situation dictates. I think EJ is going to turn out to be a good one. Its just might take a little longer than us impatient Bills fans want it to. All good. We have a plan B...more than we had a few days ago. GO BILLS.

I remember a famous quote by Bill Parcells regarding stats. I wonder if you remember that. Do you ? If so, type that quote. I'll respond. Otherwise I wont. -
Tired of EJ Bashing by Media Types
jaybee replied to TC in St. Louis's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wish it were just the media saying this. He seriously doesnt look like a very good QB in this league. I will use a honey-mustard marinade on my Crow if I am wrong but I dont think He'll be in the NFL for very long. He's a bad QB. Based on all the data so far. -
We already know about EJ. I hate to say it...but you guys have watched everything that I have. Put EJ on the practice squad. Dig him up in a few years. He's currently not an NFL caliber QB. Orton gives us a shot at a wildcard this year. EJ....even if he stays healthy is too easy for DC's to defend. He's no good. Yet.
-
I'm uncertain the coaching staff will put Orton in soon enough. If they do, I would totally agree with your assessment. We could easily win 9 games with Orton. With EJ...maybe in a few years but he's just too raw still. Otherwise our roster is strong enough to git r done. BUT....the OBD staff has to come to grips and realize they whiffed on their QB.....for the time being anyway.

The run to 16-0 starts now. Buffalo, 34-3 and the 3 was because they felt sorry for the Chicago fans. We are a compassionate football team.

I think Tuel was cut. At least thats what I read on BB.com.
