  1. LOL ! Everyone was talking about how he was rated in the top 6 (or thereabouts) last week. All good. He has a less than stellar performance yesterday and now he's flat-footed, has no pocket awareness, puts the ball in bad spots etc. C'mon guys.
  2. Agree with this. I'd add that while this game is huge, its not as big as the game coming up just 4 days after. Having Fred and Sammy as healthy as possible for that Miami game is even more important...IMHO. I honestly don't see where we cant win this Chiefs game, even without Fred and Sammy.
  3. If he's healthy. Great. If not 100%, sit em down. We win this game with or without him.
  4. I look at this thing from the perspective of a Chief's fan. We've got to go to Buffalo, a tough place to play against a defense among the best in the league. Coming off of a bye week. A QB that is playing well so far and an arsenal of receivers that are getting it done. This wont be an easy game by any means. We've got the guns to make this happen and I'm confident Buffalo will win this thing by a comfortable margin. If we get our running game going it wont even be close...IMHO.
  5. Its hard to know what to expect. When you've got a defense like ours they should be able to keep you in every game. I would like to think we stay "reasonably" healthy, and that the O-line blocking and running game improves. It wont be an easy 2nd half of the season, but I "think" repeating 5-3 in the 2nd half is a real possibility. I'd be ecstatic if that were to happen. Especially if one of those wins was against New England. Sure, we've got some issues but this to my eyes is a much improved football team compared to recent years. Go Bills !
  6. I submitted this article a couple days ago, but TBD never posted it for some reason.
  7. Yes, this was my point above.
  8. Not against that defense...IMHO.
  9. Murph and Kelso did as well. Probably deservedly so I suppose. Wouldn't have minded seeing them get so far ahead that EJ could have come in for some mop-up reps.
  10. Bingo. Add to that playing behind Romo in Dallas and the man crush fans had on Jay Cutler in Chicago at that time. Buffalo is the 1st team he's been on where his position is stable. He can just go out, have fun and win some football games. Much of his career has been wrong place, wrong time. Yet, he has lasted 10 years in the league. This is very fun to watch at the moment. Go Bills !
  11. Well, going out and signing Orton, and then having the guts to put him in was a coaching decision. So I'd agree...improved coaching.
  12. I say leave him alone. This team needs stability. Switching coaches every year has not worked for us. Marrone is making them into a better football team. He is only in his 2nd year. Already the team is improving. Most coaches have a 3 year plan to get a team where they want them. Marrone appears to be on track. No, he isn't Bill Walsh, or Bill Parcells but looks to be a coach that is improving. I say keep him. We are lucky to have him. Grass always seems greener but it often isnt.
  13. I "think" it was 5 yards years ago.
  14. I've got to believe he helps radio ratings quite a bit. Radio call for me when he's on. By far the most annoying announcer IMHO. He regularly states the obvious too.
  15. ....yup....and on the other hand, if Buffalo can run for 150 yards + tomorrow, we win easily IMO. . They say its a passing league but I'm not buying into it. If you can run the ball, it just opens up everything in the playbook. Go Boobie !
  16. That would sure be nice. Man, sometimes I get heart palpitations watching these guys. Yea...annihilate the Jets. I just wanna relax tomorrow !! For a change !
  17. I dont think Sammy will have much trouble getting open, but I'm concerned about how much time Kyle will have to throw it down field. They are capable of getting pressure. Boobie plays a big role tomorrow picking up the blitz. Go Bills !!
  18. Well, there's a guy who gets it. While looking at this match-up there are concerns as to how we match up against this team. On the other hand, if you put yourself in the shoes of a Jets fan what you will find is similar issues. Our O-line is my #1 concern. We got Boobie though. He'll pick up the blitz. Most of the time. We have good Special teams. We have a VERY good defense and a pretty good offense....which would be EXCELLENT if we had a just above average O line. Weather wont be a factor. I dunno fellas, but I think we're gonna be OK going into the bye week. It'll be a dog fight though. Fer sher.
  19. Sorry guys but that right there is funny as hell !! Good one Spag.
  20. Watch that video posted above. (kill the sound..the music sucks) Look how he carries the ball. OMG. If the coaches havent corrected that he is a fumble waiting to happen.
  21. My thoughts as well. Thanks for saving me key strokes. I'd throw in there that special teams may prove to be a big deal. Winning the field position battle. Maybe a long punt / kick-off return. A game / momentum changer. Also (and its probably been said) the difference in the game may end up being Geno making a bad decision while under pressure. I've seen enough of Geno now and he gives a DC a headache. He is very good when he can plant his feet. I honestly dont think Percy will be a factor although we will probably see him on kickoff / punt returns I'm thinking. Given the situation with our injuries and a hungry talented team like the Jets I think its going to take a small miracle (turnovers) to win this one. Huge game. Throw out the stats. Throw out the records. It'll be a dog fight and decided in the final minutes. In what I believe will be a low scoring game. 17-16 Jets and I hope to hell I'm wrong.
  22. Yea, its only practice. But...anyone that has watched Hogan at camp would say...I want that guy on my team. He is an amazing athlete. He is becoming a nice asset to this offense as I told my young daughter he would. He is one of us. Root / Route/ Rute (for the spelling police) for this possession receiver. He is a diamond in the rough. And he's ours. Happy happy happy.
  23. Nothing to add to that in our case. You make an excellent point, and an exception to what I stated above. This here is a good example (on the other hand) of how one player does not make a team great. You've supported my original comment. I wish I could argue with all of your post, but I really cant. Because...you are probably right !!
  24. Kind of surprised you'd even waste key-strokes on this obvious fact.
