I'm on Record saying that the 3 QB's that will not bust in this draft class are Allen, Mayfield and Rudolph. I will be happy with any of these 3 players. I feel when it's all said and done that these 3 will be game breakers.
I get that feeling and sense Allen has hall of fame talent. We are in for one hell of a ride. I always felt Allen was the target and I feel that's who the Bills would move up for, if they get a trade partner. I know some on this board don't believe in Allen and that's ok. Will see what happens over the years.

This draft is going to be epic in every way. I can not remember a draft with more anticipation and drama. this will be epic in front of 80,000 fans inside Cowboys ATT stadium and 3 networks broadcasting it. This will be high drama and must see TV.

He’s gonna be a bust. I saw him play in person and he was absolutely terrible. Don’t give me the WR were not getting open crap. They were WIDE open and Allen just kept missing them. I wouldn’t draft Josh Allen in the 7th round. Beane is the first GM I have believed in, in about 20 years. There’s no way he’s picking Allen. If he does I will lose all hope and Beane will have ust pinched his ticket out of town.
You could not be more wrong. This guy is the real deal and if I had to bet Allen and Rudolph and Mayfield will end up being the best QB’s in this draft class. Allen has hall of fame talent. Just wait and see. I also believe that Allen is the Bills targeted QB they want.

Richie found out Rosen is not in the Bils plans so he’s back. I love it !!!!!!

Based on this chart we have a great chance at Sam Darnold with a trade up to the Colts to get him.
Also if this Bills could get the QB they want at 12 man I would love to have 5 more great players in the top 96 picks. We would be sitting really good with lots of talent.

I think Mahomes would be the 6th QB behind Lamar Jackson if he was in this group.
Your on some serious drugs if you believe that.

People or GM’s are lying that’s my opinion. Also Rosen will drop he’s a cancer.

That's fair. I don't really have an opinion on him, I'm just trusting the process and hoping that whoever we draft, wins us games
Well I can tell you Josh Rosen is not about the process. He is anti process. He is a me first person. He is not about the process or getting to learn the process. So I highly doubt he is on the Bills draft board as someone they want to have around infecting the locker room. We don’t need his mouth or his attitude around this teams process.

The most common threads on TBD is about which quarterbacks to dump or obtain. Almost all note that the last great QB we had was Kelly ~ 20 years ago. Seems to me there should be at least a little more talk about getting a game changing stud on defense. We have not had one since Bruce Smith - also 20 years ago. Why haven't we been able to draft another one? Failed at that too.
Because when you make the playoffs 1 time in 18 years who cares about any other picks. Draft a whole team of Bruce smiths or Jerry Rice’s. It would not matter. Brady changes wideouts and RB
like undeware. The one constant is Brady. That’s why they win. Put Brady on the Bills last year and were in the Super bowl. Why don’t you get this.

Technically he was 17-12... UCLA went 1-6 when he wasn't playing so that kind of debunks your losing record with lots of talent.
Edit: Not including the two bowl games, but even still 17-14 if you want to include them
good point I will give you that. Still don’t like him
as my QB.

Rosen slipping in ratings and Rudolph making his way up the draft boards. Lots of positive news for Mason. get ready for the mason Rudolph era at one Bills drive.

Totally agree with this. I have him rated number 1 QB on the board for this draft.

He actually never said he will win more Super Bowls than Brady. He said it would be cool to be the winningist QB in NFL history, he wants to win the most games and the most championships.
Same thing he is not a winner. He had a losing record in college at UCLA with lots of talent. How does he plan on winning the most games in NFL history. Never have I heard a Rookie QB spew this kind of stuff before even getting drafted. He is in for a rude awakening. Troy Vincent just might have to come out of retirement. Wonder if he will pull a Ryan Leaf and go spastic when the Vets stick him with the dinner bill. This guy loves to talk and can’t even back it up.

Yes we all know you voted for Trump and disagree with his views, you have made it apparent in so many threads already...It's ok and advisable to turn Fox
NewsoffAgain I have never brought politics into talking about Rosen. Not one post about that at all when talking about Rosen. I talk about the crap Rosen spews out of his mouth and on his social media. If you think he’s a Process Bills type of QB. I have some beach front property I want to sell you in Nevada. Your living in a dream world if you think the Bills will draft that Jack azz.

Totally agree with this, Unlike that idiot Rosen.

Rosen does not fit into the Bills plans or process. He is not a process player or a team player. He’s about Rosen and Rosen only. What idiot says he will win more SuperBowls then brady before he even takes a snap in the NFL. Where is Troy Vincent when you need him. Rosen is all ready running his mouth and has not stepped on a NFL field yet. God I hate this guy and everything about him. Rudolph will have a much better career then this guy. I would of thought this stuff would be coming from Baker Mayfield. But no this idiot has to just keep running his mouth.Cant wait to see this guy get taken down a few notches.

my thoughts are this is the best thread ever. But I think it’s going to get closed soon. oh by the way Rosen is a loser and a bum.

Not happening. He's ahead of Darnold on more than 1 board, and he's the most pro ready QB in the draft.
Murphd6 I’m sorry to tell you this. But your going to be disappointed after this draft. We’re either getting Josh Allen which I think is beans first choice or Mason Rudolph. So you better get used to the idea

Ah, I could've came up with a better title but... brain fart, I suppose... anyways...
At this point, we all know how much emphasis McBeane places on character when considering which players to bring into their locker room. If the 2017 draft is any indication, McBeane want prospects with experience, leadership skills, clean off the field and put the team before their personal achievements.
If I had the chance to ask McDermott or Beane a question, I would ask them what their threshold is for character concerns. How many character traits or personality flaws or off-field incidents/concerns does it take for them to look at a prospect and go, "Can't have him here, doesn't fit what we're building." Obviously, not every player is going to be a boy scout. I just wonder this because how do they weigh a players talent vs. his character, ya know what I mean? Does the prospect need to be 100% squeaky clean and have played at least X number of games, graduated college (or are close to graduating) and be a "fall in line" type of guy?
Again, I'm curious because I'd hate to see them have a chance at a player (and this is just in general, doesn't pertain to the 2018 prospects specifically) who is extremely talented, projects to be an All-Pro, but had an off-field incident or has been outspoken with the media or has whatever type of character red flag and see them pass on said player in lieu of a less talented but higher character player.
If McDermott is constructing this locker room and brewing the chemistry he says he's aiming for, then I would think that they'd be comfortable taking a talented player with a few character issues. They would have to trust that the culture inside the locker room and the team leaders and coaches would be able to kind of take this player under their wing and keep him in line, so to speak.
They can't all be 4-year starters with degrees and 40+ games started while being a model citizen/community contributor, etc. etc.
What do you guys think? How heavily do you think character weighs in on their player evaluations? How much would character concerns affect your decisions if you were the GM?
Hey... look at that... not a thread about a QB. Hope everyone is having a good day.
If all of this is true which I think it is. The Bills will never draft Josh Rosen, he is the cancer of this QB class.

Was watching a bunch of Rosen-related content on the NFL channel yesterday. Interviews with him in street clothes and stuff like that.
I don't like this guy, as an individual, or his general look! LOL. I really don't.
He doesn't look the part.
I think he has more chance to bust than some of the others in the draft, even if many have him as the top prospect in the draft or suggest he is the most accurate (which I'm a big fan of).
I just don't like this guy.I could not agree more. +100
43 minutes ago, BillsFan4 said:You never bring up his actual play as a QB. It's always his attitude/opinion you don't like.
On the field, he's the best passer in this draft class and the most advanced QB in his abilities. The way he can read the field is extremely impressive for a college kid.
His accuracy is fantastic, too.
He also led the 2nd greatest comebacks in NCAA football history. Brought his team back in the 4th quarter down by 34 points (44-10) to win the game. He led FIVE straight scoring drives, and scored 35 straight points to win the game 45-44. And that wasn't even his best game...
He is the #2 ranked QB in this draft class according to NFL draft grades.
You better be be ready for the possibility of a Rosen pick because there has been a lot of smoke coming from the Bills that this is the guy they want! And I love it! I think he would fit in Buffalo perfectly fine.
Not true in many post all around twobillsdrive I bring up his play and what I don’t like about it. I also do bring up all his attitude and personality things that I do not like. So for me I don’t like this guy at all. I would hate it if the Bills drafted him. I hate him like he is Tom Brady. I think he is a fake and fraud. He is Injury prone and had plenty of talent at UCLA and he has a losing record. He is not a winner at all. He is a me first guy and thinks he is better then everyone else. He is not a good leader, he is very poor thrower on anything over 20 yards and gets a lot of balls batted down. 10 of them alone last year at UCLA. Mason Rudolph is so much better then this guy it’s not even funny. Better person, better stats, better career and he is a winner.

If the Bills scouts / front office think the same as Steve Fairchild, then they are going to draft Mason Rudolph at #12.
please let this happen. Then we get to use our 5 other pics and not give them away.
what I like about Rudolph is this
Timing/Vision-Processing/Anticipation
He proved able to throw the timing routes with good accuracy and shows a natural feel for these types of throws. Rudolph doesn’t always have to see a receiver break or be in the open window to throw the ball. He sees the field well and can make throws with anticipation, in addition to being able to throw receivers open. He throws an excellent seam route; his size and stature helps him in these areas. GRADE: 8.5
SUMMARY/DRAFT PROJECTION
The South Carolina native is a quarterback who possesses a NFL frame, an above average arm and a mechanically sound delivery. His arm talent is good but not great. Rudolph is balanced and compact in his setup when dropping back and was a very productive player all four years in college, showcasing some characteristics that translate well to playing quarterback in the NFL. His pocket presence and ability to operate/process with defenders around him is outstanding; he shows the toughness to stand tall and execute. Rudolph isn’t very mobile in the pocket and there will be an adjustment period for him to play under center. Overall, he has a very big upside and may be as good as any quarterback in this draft class, as he develops over the next few years. Mason Rudolph should be a first-round pick in the 2018 draft. OVERALL GRADE: 119

Rosen does not want to work he wants to wine and cry about to much on his plate. This guy is just the worst QB in my option. when I was his age I was full time US Airforce and worked 2 part time jobs and took college classes. Guy is as big a jerk as they come.
