If there not going QB in the first , They NEED to trade down, The players we could get at 8 would be just as good as players at 20-25 imo. I could see at least one of following available in the back half of the 1st : Ogeltree, Warmack, Austin, Patterson .

[closed]Fred Davis Cancel Jets Trip
Aus Bills replied to AllDayADay's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My money would be on him signing with Skins. Not to be negative but from what's been said the Bills offer was very similar. It wouldn't make sense leaving a team with an promising future for a team with alot of question marks. -
Fred Davis FA TE has dinner with Bills brass

"Of the 31 players who sustained an Achilles tendon rupture, 21 (64%) returned to play in the NFL at an average of 11 months after injury. In the three seasons following their return, those 21 players saw significant decreases in games played and power ratings compared to the three seasons preceding the injury." "Furthermore, in the reviewed 21 NFL skill players who returned to play, there were significant decreases in games played per season (11.67 games per year pre-injury versus 6.17 games per year postinjury) when averaged over the three seasons before the injury and the three seasons after the injury.3 There were also decreases averaging nearly 50% in power ratings of the returning players for the three seasons after the injury compared to the three seasons before the injury." http://lowerextremityreview.com/article/return-to-football-after-achilles-tendon-rupture It doesnt look good, that being said who thought AP would win MVP coming off a torn ACL. -

Gilmore has something to tell us
Aus Bills replied to Captain Hindsight's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why would Gilmore be the person to announce something important about the team? Its probably something personal, child on the way? -
IF IF IF Minnesota Trades Up To 8 for Cordarelle
Aus Bills replied to Astrobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I doubt Geno Smith will be available at 8 let alone 22. I like this plan though, pick Ogeltree at 22 and then select best available QB at 25 (Barkley hopefully). -
Outside opinions ont draft's QBs
Aus Bills replied to OldTimer1960's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm tipping that both smith and barkley are off the board by 8. I'm sure Arians said he really liked Barkley . -
Lost in all of this, we need a Tight End

Fred Davis, 1 year contract. -
IMHO - San Fran will move up in the draft
Aus Bills replied to mitchmurraydowntown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Id happily slide back for an extra 2nd or 3rd. -
Barkley would be a dolphin if he declared when he should of. He's still accurate and could lead the offense. I dont think he has regressed that much in one year.

Quarterbacks & Rounds I’d be OK with us drafting them in
Aus Bills replied to simpleman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Geno Smith isnt getting past jags, raiders, browns and cards. I doubt Barkley will be available at 8 either. EJ Manuel in the 2nd is the likely option. -
Victor Butler LB from Dallas. Only 25 yrs old, still time to develop. Saints, steelers and jets all had interest but couldnt agree on a deal. Brandon Moore would be a solid replacement at guard, not as good as levitre but wont be so damn expensive. Fred Davis at TE would add some kick to the recieving core. He's obviously not long term but we dont have enough draft picks to get a TE. Im not a fan of any WR left. Gibson would have been good but bills werent interested. Draft one or two.

any Compensatory Picks coming to the Bills?
Aus Bills replied to ganesh's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The teams that need them most get none. -
Ryan Fitzpatrick - QB - Tennessee Titans
Aus Bills replied to MClem06's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My prediction is Fitz starts week 5 onwards. -
I really want Barkley to get past the Cards. We can get a quality WR in the 2nd.

My view of drafting and this draft
Aus Bills replied to Cheddar's Dad's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Barkley isn't Taken by 8 best option is to trade down and get him later in the first. No teams below us in the first are drafting a QB. Hopefully gain an extra 2nd or 3rd . -
People give IBN a bad wrap but he has annoumced all the big FA's signings before the main reporters this offseason, he called the wallace signing 3 days before anyone else. Dont take what he says as final but i wouldnt completely dismiss it.

For a reasonable contract id take him

Preliminary Mock - Any Changes Needed?
Aus Bills replied to Astrobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd rather trade for Cousins than draft any of the QB's in this draft. He's spent a year in the league under Redskins staff and he's even got some minutes which he looked reasonably good. -
The Bills have a few holes to fill
Aus Bills replied to chef4131's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have no idea what Nix is planning on doing , but surely they will bring in some FA's at a reasonable price in the coming days. There have been some ridiculous contracts signed during the past few days and i don't think the front office wanted any part of them. -
Nobody wants Kyle Williams.... Trade the 8th pick for a Mid/End first rounder and an additional 2nd. Draft Jarvis Jones in the first, then get Barkley/Nassib and Deandre Hopkins in the second..... My master plan, that wont happen

Come on Bills fans, are we forgetting that we have...
Aus Bills replied to rayray808's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The only optimism ive read all week. I tend to agree. So much excitement last year and now its all doom and gloom. We still have a good offensive line, CJ coming off an amazing season, Stevie Johnson with a New WR from the Draft, Still have a great D-line, Finally a new QB, New coaches. It aint all bad. Plus a bunch underachievers got cut.
