I don’t know if the article is true or not but it paints Allen as a weak minded, tentative, unsure player seeking nirvana like some freak hippy from 1968. And your take is that coaching is ruining him? It definitely can’t be anything Allen is doing wrong because he is perfect.

There is not one person on this board calling for Allen to be traded or removed from the team in any way. Not one. By contrast there is a 4 billion page thread about firing Dorsey, multiple calls for McD’s head on a platter, a few calls for Beane to be removed, joy over Knox’s injury, a couple of mob hits out on Gabe Davis, a few people still calling Diggs a diva. But touch the 17th rail and you’d better watch out. BTW lol at your decision of whether Allen had a “really good”;game Sunday or if it was just “good”.

I think Texas is the best remaining team but the back end of their pen is a major issue. The Carter kid has given them a much needed boost. As far as I’m concerned this is anybody’s guess. I’d lean Philly in game 7. The Az rookie pitcher was great in game 3 and really helped them but game 7 on the road????
