I disagree. I think we should draft a QB. It does not matter who as long as we trade up to the top. Sure maybe we could get Laulelauletaletta at 22 easily but if we trade up into the top 10 to take him, his odds of being awesome skyrocket.

My hypothetical is that we trade a 5th to Philly for Wentz because they already have a Super Bowl tested QB and Wentz is injury prone. I've finally been convinced by the compelling arguments made here that the more we give up, the more we will get. Who cares that the Giants Browns and Jets all need a QB and already own the necessary pick? Just do it. Here is how:. First trade with the Browns to get number 4. Give up all of our picks this year except one of seconds. Then go from 4 to 2 by giving up the 2nd. Then from 2 to 1 giving up next year's first. The trick here is Cle and NYG still need something more because they want QBs too. We throw in a secret sworn notarized promissory note allowing the Browns to name one QB we can't take and the Giants to name three. This way we get our guy because he is number 1 and that is all that matters. I realize this plan moves the Giantsbehind the Jets and may cost the Browns Barkley so I am working on a plan that gives the Jets Dion Dawkins, Tre White , and Shady for them to go to 12 but I'm not sure it will work because they want a QB. Denver is also a pain in the butt. Give me a little more time.

Because QB at all costs is the way to go. Luckily it only applies to 31 teams and the Giants just happen to be the team that does not need to abide.

Well the Jets would have started by offering pick 6 whereas we can only start with 12. If the Browns are targeting someone who is certain to be gone by say pick 8, what do you think we had to offer?
