This will sound weird but I wrote a thread about it a while back. I'm still the same age as when I started drinking coffee.

The whole Supreme Court thing got me thinking about old memories. I posted on PPP but will also post here because although politics reminded me, this isn't really a political topic at all. Do any of you have memories of long ago? It could be something happy, sad, or even irrelevant, but something that has really stuck with you. My example is one of guilt. One day I was minding my own business having some coffee at a little cafe on Main Street when an ambulance went screaming by. I was annoyed by the noise and was glad when it had past. I went back to my coffee and my day without further thought. Later I found out that in the ambulance was my Uncle Eugene. He died on October the 2nd 1981. It was 37 years ago today and I'll never forget it. I still feel awful. I think of Geno every time I have coffee. I miss you dude.

I don't mean to be rude but let's try to keep Kavanagh in the Kavanagh thread. This was meant for old memories. Yes it may have been prompted by Kavanagh but it isn't meant to be political. People of all stripes have regrets. It it was really more of a question about old memories popping back up from time to time. Happy old memories are welcome too! October 2 is a tough day.

This subject has obviously been in the news lately. Do you have any that you recall in fear, guilt or happiness? Any other emotion will do. My example is one of guilt. Andrew Luck excuse thread 2018

No. Kim Jung QB has been deemed great since before his 2012 drafting. Since then, the Colts dumped Manning who won a Super Bowl, and fellow draftees Russell Wilson and Nick Foles have won Super Bowls but Luck is still untouchable for criticism. This week Frank Reich has become the latest person to blame for Luck's failures. Your list of clutch 2016 players is laughable as Luck blew two extremely easy late game plays in games that ultimately cost his team their division. They are easily found on YouTube and have been linked before. The narrative must be maintained though so CBS calls him clutch. And people buy it. Lololololololololololol. It's not Kim Jung QB's fault that no one will criticize him. Frankly I think it is unfair to him and is probably holding him back. It's similar to people drinking the Jim Jones Kool Aid if Jim Jones was only a bystander and not the organizer. It's not Luck's fault but it is still a cult. Don't be a cult member. -

I'm starting to wonder if maybe yesterday could be a turning point for Luck. Reich demonstrated that he is going to try to win and Andrew has to step up in that regard. Yes, he flopped by missing an easy pass, but sometimes failing is the best way to learn. If he knows he won't be coddled, maybe he will step up. -
Come on dude. Women of all shapes and sizes have been abused by dudes of all shapes and sizes. I personally do not believe her story, but could maybe see her confusing it with something else that actually happened to her at someone else's hands. I despise her commie handlers who have already openly abused her by suggesting unlimited scope, which is a betrayal as simply proving her story would be enough. The scope demands are for others to make, not lawyers for her. If they were her lawyers they would be focused on her case, not simply a "get Kavanagh" approach. None of that is a reason for some moron to post her HS picture and call her ugly. It is similar to a moron Senator asking about farts and other yearbook quotes. It is 100 per cent irrelevant and goes to the left's divisive assertion that all men are pigs that see women as objects. There are many unasked questions left for Ford IMO. Asking about her looks is not one of them. The thing I find least credible even after 35 years is that she doesn't remember the parts before the party like who invited her and how she found out about it. Such a small number of people there...and they were older boys who were evidently popular. Most teenage girls would remember feeling part of an exclusive club upon the lead up to the party. It would be another thing altogether if there were 100 people but such a small gathering would be a rare occurrence with people she knew marginally. I think it's possible. It could have even been a setup for something like she claimed.....but she would definitely remember the lead up, especially after something significant happened there.

I don't think so. The Dems knew they could escort some Soros ladies to Flake and he would cave. They know the undecided Senators will all cave when the FBI discovered he drank in college and wrote about farting. The time of this thing may be limited but the scope won't be. It sure seems like Ford has been kicked to the curb a la Bridget Moynahan.

It could be worse; Frank Reich could be the Bills coach

You are getting dangerously close to the third rail of Kim Jung QB criticism. Cool your jets. -
Andrew Luck excuse thread 2018
4merper4mer replied to 4merper4mer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
One might think it is because Allen played his fourth game today but one would be wrong. Perhaps it is because Luck was treated as if he would become the Gretzky of the NFL and he hasn't resembled anything close. And none of it all is ever his fault. Reich is getting skewered for trying to win, perhaps deservedly so. Nobody seems to be pointing out that Luck bounced a 6 yard out when the chips were down.......again. Lol head coach's fault he bounced a 6 yard pass in crunch time. Good one,. Bad decision by the coach or not, the play was there to be made. -

They were down the whole game which can inflate stats. When he had the chance to win the game he choked again. -
