  1. I think we have a real real shot at exactly this happening. Nothing is certain but I'm optimistic. That said, the narrative will never change. The upper echelon NFL owners do not want a team in Buffalo. They can get bent but the media yammerers will always do their bidding. If you're looking for evidence that they are petulant entitled self serving douche bags, swing by the Asian Orchid on a Wednesday morning.
  2. I don't know what to think of Brown because Ben is such a douche. That doesn't mean AB isn't too, so for me the jury is out. I have no doubts whatsoever that Beckham is a gigundous moron.
  3. Brown is stupid if he didn't want to come to Buffalo; good for Beane in not playing around. On what planet are the Steelers going to be a good team over the next 5 years or so? That is over. I don't know what teams Brown thinks he could go to that would be a better long term situation. Packers? Eagles? Seahawks? Chargers? and maybe Panthers are all I can come up with.
  4. Many owners still cling to moving them, including a fat old drunk who pays slaves for sex. These owners have many mouthpieces.
  5. It's not really all that weird for ESPN to go out of their way to dismiss something potentially positive about the Bills. If he does end up here it will be painted in a negative light. If the deal doesn't happen they'll joke about Buffalo and call the team that gets him brilliant.
  6. I don't miss drunken donut because he was a douche bag who gave no effort and took a loser's way out. If things were bad, step up and be a leader. The fake act to get a ticket out was disgraceful. Eff him.
  7. Winnie the bear was a commie that's why his last name means poop aaaaaaaaaaaaah haaaaaaaaaaaah -Tubbs
  8. It's not that I don't like Metcalf or that I'm picking on him. Show me another top of the top pick in some previous draft that had such glaring holes. With those facts on the table and he is still the top non-QB o player speaks volumes and says punt. Why wouldn't somebody, or multiple players be ranked higher given the major shortcomings with Metcalf that are typically associated with a 4th rounder?
  9. Not to say it's perfect but generally speaking our D is in better shape than our O. Although the draft may have some solid D in it, the consensus top O player is historically bad in areas of his game. Let that sink in. He's terribly incomplete but still BPA on O. This means everyone else is even worse. Let the other teams have crappy guys. This is the year do skip and load up. I get what you mean about Tua but then you point out other QBs could be great. That is counter to your argument. If we hold the #1 all we need is for someone to be highly desired. Tua was used as an example, albeit a likely one. And honestly dude you got so many of those QBs names wrong, how can I trust your assessment?
  10. A percentage chance of something happening can be very close to zero, but it can't be zero and definitely not less. Anyway if you want a few crappy players instead of taking the chance on holding Tua for an absolute King's ransom then that is your prerogative. It isn't powerball; there is a decent chance Beane could guess the right team.
  11. If we trade with a bad team we will get a high pick from them. That is sort of the point. Would you rather have Arizona's 2020 1 or a WR who can't move laterally any better than the 3:11 Amtrak? Am I sure this will happen? Of course not. It is probably low odds to completely come true but I think trading our 1 for Arizona or Cincy's 2020 1 could happen. In later rounds there could be different partners. The odds of it all happening are the same as the odds of someone doing a 7 round mock draft and nailing it, but still not less than 0%. Where did you get that math? That's why I think we have to entice them with perceived draft value chart value.
  12. Listen I understand that and of course Beane should take the most he can get but the point is to load up in 2020 and that might mean like for like even if it seems to be at a discount. Besides, it's not like we can get a "zeroeth" round pick for our 2019 1st. Anyway I think Beane needs to be a handicapper with the 2020 first and really try to get the #1 overall. Cincy? If we land the keys to Tua the haul could be amazing. The "now" talent comes from free agency, a possible trade for a guy like Brown and the UDFAs. We had two UDFAs from 2018 that would be drafted pretty high in a re-do. Beane should try to get more guys like that.
  13. When the top non-QB O prospect aspires to Drew Bledsoe's lateral quickness, then it is time to think pragmatically and long term if you're Beane.
  14. I should have explained it better. We trade this year's 2 for a 2020 2. We take our own 2020 2 and the trade for pick to trade for AB post draft.
  15. Still, we should have won but Stevie dropped the TD.
  16. Since Beane has been here IMO he has been all about value. He has cut players with bad contracts, gotten guys like White that would be taken much higher now and used the UDFA process to great impact. 2019 is intersting for sure but so are the following years. This year we have a ton of cap $. We can spend that and plug holes at OL, TE, edge and others. WR might be tough along with LB. Turning to the draft, and no offense to these kids, but it is the most boring in history. These guys pretty much suck. We pick at 9, and it is already thinning out by then. I could see Beane pulling off a master stroke that looks bad at first but pays off for decades. Burn the value chart and trade all the picks to different teams for their corresponding pick next year. Spread it out so odds are that some of the picks will be high in their round. Trade the 9 to the Cardinals and we'll have a chance at #1 in 2020. Other teams might be Cincy, Washington, or Detroit. Next year trade Tua for multiple 1's. Package our 2 2020 2's and roll the dice on AB, get another UDFA like Wallace/Foster but at RB, LB and depth OL and we are set up for a decade.
  17. You knew what I meant because it was very clear. As this season goes along they are getting worse than they were earlier in the year. Is that even debatable? It isn't just the record or the team as a whole; it is also many of the individual players. How you look at that and see a team on the rise is befuddling.
