Unless time stood still we signed a guy to play 23 months after an Achilles while the Rams signed him to start 11 months after an Achilles. See the difference? Spoiler alert: 23-11=12.

    If you had doubts I might be ok, but knowing you have serious doubts…… He only gets the “nice chunk of change” if he hits incentives. That’s good news though, this way everyone can complain now matter what. It’s either: “terrible signing” or “sure he had a great year but that’s still too much money”. Everybody wins.

    When was the memo about Tre White of all people being the new escape goat? A 1.4M commitment to one of the best leaders the team has ever seen draws angst derision and mocking? All the board GMs mad we didn’t get someone else without any specific names. Maybe we should have got Surtain and a 7th for a 6th as long as he agreed to a pay cut. Sheesh.

    I understand that but we play the Eagles at home this year. Our “extra game” is the Eagles, but it’s at home, not away.
