You’re missing the broader point which is that Tre White must be criticized with even the most absurd comparisons. It proves the macho street cred of those who criticize him. They’ve proven they’re not being sentimental in any way which is reserved for inferior betas. By preferring someone like Ricks, or ignoring all logic, they bolster their own self image of being an alpha.

He’s been a reputed malcontent since his days at Ped State. I get that you don’t like Jerry but he did state that he is willing to make Parsons the highest paid/guaranteed non QB in league history. I’m not sure it’s a one way street. Parsons’ agent has been fired by another prominent player….forgot who maybe Higgins…..and then a deal got done.

No. He’s overrated. I’m not saying he’s terrible but he’s not the Bruce Smith everyone on this board is ridiculously making him out to be. Not even close. He’s a shiny object like all Cowboys, Dodgers, Yankees, etc. tend to be. Overhyped by 50% just because of the team he is on. When we played Dalllas we targeted his shortcomings and the game was over by mid second quarter.

I didn’t see it but it looks like it was well pitched. The Yankees are beyond stupid keeping Caballero on the bench. He creates runs.

Just finished watching the Padres beat the Dodgers in an excellent game. Several clutch defensive plays and great pitching from both teams. The outcome was in doubt for the entire game up until the last pitch. San Diego has a great crowd. Fun, fun game. Padres bullpen is so sick. Morejon, Estrada, Adam, Miller Suarez……..seriously?
