  1. By saying nothing he has summarized all aliens in the universe.
  2. You're making my point. There have been severe effects of concussions for football pkayers doing their job. What are the horns of a ram designed to do? This is glorified blatantly on the Rams helmets.
  3. They are very skilled and spend many hours polishing their Kraft.
  4. I think that is Flo's sister from the Progressive commercial but we won't know for sure until the 12th.
  5. That and the fact that the entire cover was her face so he had to sign it on her face.
  6. Good on Beck for grabbing the Col. Sanders gig. Rudy's stint sure was short. At this point I think everyone has had it except DC Tom.
  7. There is a lot of math involved for sure and a black hole can't ruled out. Foxx apparently doesn't understand that not all black holes are in the middle of galaxies.
  8. Dude have you ever met a lawyer? They will sue McDonald's because coffee is hot. They will certainly point out in court that the Rams helmets mimic real rams and real rams lead with head to head contact. It certainly has more merit than hot coffee.
  9. Yes. Same for the Pats old logo and Oilers/Titans. The change toward forward motion is clear.
  10. Bettis in that commercial, being a former Ram, is interesting. It's probably nothing but could be a subtle hint at something.
  11. Yes it is early but I saw them as more than semi-respectable. They looked good. I'm not sure I like the Skinner Eichel break up but we'll see. Maybe the coach can make chicken salad from the ingredients the GM gave him.
  12. That's a stretch. It's not even a modern helmet on that guy. If they are going to get sued it will be the Rams long before this. The secondary ones would be Bills, Pats and Titans who all changed from stationary logos to logos with forward motion directed at the other team. Correct. I made a list in the first post. IMO we are one of three teams in group 2. To be clear though the deep pockets are the league, not any individual team. The NFL says it wants to cut down on helmet to helmet contact but then trots the Rams out there? That doesn't make sense.
  13. The Bengals just have stripes. The Lion, while lunging forward, was marginal but made the list. I can't really make the case that the Bengals helmet encourages head shots but their old helmet certainly didn't.
  14. Correct. I made a list in the first post. None are as over the top as the Rams but the Bills made the list.
  15. There is no implied motion on the Colts helmet like there is in some other helmets including ours. I guess it could be debated one way or the other but the Rams is blatant.
  16. A mascot is a mascot, I get it. In sports, some of these have violent imagery like Raptors or Sabres, some don't like Jazz or White Sox. That's all good. But the Rams are an animal with one go to move. Head to head contact with a big windup. The teams helmet doubles down on this.
  17. Have you seen the head shots? Josh got knocked for a loop. The defender often turns their head down at the last moment just like....a ram. The other factor is that so many games are televised and these guys have probably all watched Ram games.
  18. Our QB has a concussion and obviously the problem is way bigger than just one player. The NFL acts like it cares and we all complain about the lack of penalties, or excessive penalties, or selective enforcement but take a step back and look at the big picture. I think any lawyer worth his salt could put the NFL in serious jeopardy w.r.t. their attitude towards concussions and leading with the head. How? The Los Angeles Rams. Look at their helmet. I'm not sure if everyone has seen nature shows about actual Rams but those things slam their heads together at an alarming rate of speed. How can the NFL reconcile the Rams helmet, which clearly encourages leading with the helmet with their supposed concern for player safety. You could make a case that some other helmets give the illusion of forward motion but the Rams is BLATANT. Don't be surprised if this ends up in a case somewhere. Other, lesser culprits could be seen in the helmets of the: Pats, Bills, Chiefs, Titans, Jags, Eagles, Vikings, Lions, Bucs, Panthers, and Seahawks.
  19. Wondering if you guys think planet 9 could actually be a primordial black hole. The math seems to support it as a possibility. Thoughts?
