He could certainly learn from the work ethic now that 14’s commitment has left the building. Aside from Milano still being here, we have lost what was clearly a high degree of work ethic from 13, 14, 27, 60 etc. Let’s hope the remaining guys and some newbies pick up the slack and it starts clicking for some of the more laid back types.

I agree with that. Trading your obvious top WR for nothing doesn’t help in the near term at all. Diggs 100000000% wants to win. Cutting through all the noise that is what comes through loud and clear. Allen has taken to partying the last few years. Deny it all anyone wants but it is true. He has immense talent and he gives his all on the field but that hasn’t been enough because he screws around too much. Now our receivers will know what happens if you try to push 17 to work harder/be better. A franchise realistically has to build around the QB but the QB needs to work.

I don’t like the move in general because we give up a hard working high end player. I do get the age thing. I haven’t seen the picks we received. I don’t love the cap cost. I don’t love rewarding Josh for laziness which may be the root cause of all of this. We’ll find that out together. All that said, Houston has Nico Collins and Tank Dell. I don’t really get it for them.

Hamler is better than Shorter. Shorter will have a sub Hodgins career.

Lots of great exciting young players at the right time too. 50% of them on Baltimore and 50% distribute amongst the rest of the league. Just kidding….sort of. Holliday, Henderson, Rutschman, Ella, O Cruz, Langford, Carter, Carroll, And more. Plus the Eastern contingent with Yamamoto, Lee and Imanaga should be interesting following Ohtani and Senga. There are more on tge way too..
