Where is he projected to go in the draft? Upthread someone implied the Jets, which I assume means 2overall. Taking a skinny kid at 2 who has “proven it” against The Citadel et al would be a Jets move for sure. Where do you see him in comparison to Jeudy and Ruggs?

Letting Edmunds walk is about the silliest idea imaginable. A 22 year old MLB who sets the defense every play and was asked to augment an undermanned DL while playing injured? The guy is a primary building block for the team along with Allen, Diggs, White and Dawkins. I think his personality plays into this and I find it disappointing. He is a quiet guy. Big friggin deal.

Very cool and I have no doubt they are trying. My guess though, is that it will be quite a while due mainly to power requirements.

I wasn’t aware that we were. There is sort of some of that in the plot, sort of not.....I won’t ruin it for you, but it has nothing to do with where I think the plot is going. If it does go that way it will still be a good story/show but with a major plot deficiency.

I can see the genetic stuff happening even though I don’t understand it. It would be a real double edged sword. I’m not so sure on the sentient tech though. Machine learning? Yup. Solving massive problems? Yes but I’m not sure they would be of all types. What happens when a computer needs to develop hypotheses and make observations? Without consciousness it doesn’t know where to look unless told. We don’t understand our own consciousness enough to create it artificially IMO. Hell, we aren’t even 100% sure our’s is real. Artificial intelligence is one thing and has a lot of definitions/uses. Artificial consciousness is far more complex.

I doubt we’re ready for that yet. Those things require too much power compared to the rovers.

Never saw House of Cards but I don’t think so. Investigative reporter/intelligence agencies/foreign relations. I think I am beginning to see where it is going and if it goes that way I’ll be disappointed. But that is just a plot line. The show is well done.

2+ episodes into an Aussie show called Secret City. It stars Anna Torv from Mindhunter. It’s really good so far. A lot of intrigue.
