OMG Eichel is a no BS guy? He’s literally all BS off the ice. If the Sabres had landed McDavid maybe the completely inept Murray still screws it up……probably even…….but maybe the locker room isn’t so toxic that guys like ROR have to leave. It’s hard to separate some of this stuff but one thing is for sure……Eichel is good riddance.

Can’t speak to the rookie but Barkley and McCaffrey aren’t improving anything because each will be injured again. At this point at least CMC should be a low contract prove it kind of player but that isn’t happening. Dude gets injured every 3rd play. The Giants with new management would need a huge haul for Barkley just for optics because if he ever stayed healthy and had a good year after being traded for a 5th or something, the NY press would have their heads on pikes. His real value is like Matt Barkley but the Giants need a Charles Barkley in his prime price. Nope.

Robinson if healthy makes this offense un stop a bull. I agree he will probably be too expensive but there is a slim chance the market is soft and/or he prioritizes winning over $.

Murray dug a very deep hole and Botts was nowhere near equipped to handle that….he got painted into corners and made it worse. It hasn’t really gotten worse at all this year, it’s just been the realization of the inevitable. Tim Murray was absolutely the worst GM in the history of professional sports. The Sabres should have petitioned the league to jettison his entire construct and be allowed to re-enter the NHL as an expansion team.
