Goodwin had good measurables. Nassib was from Syracuse. Neither might be more relevant but both are more so than Hank Aaron, who you brought up. The guy has bad tape, not good tape. My guess is that Marquise Goodwin matches that list of measurables from the initial post. Should we draft him again but as a corner this time? If you don’t like comparing him with his brother, how about comparing him with prior athletes whose numbers were good but their tape sucked? Got a list of NFL successes that fit that profile? Get creative and go for assault with a deadly weapon. The family’s attorneys should aggressively pursue the Chiefs. If there was a party or even if he could be seen drinking on a security camera, I’d think it’s possible that the pockets got deeper. If the security footage is unavailable/deleted, there could be an angle I’d think.

I just think if there is trade there, Denver is most likely and might be able to offer more than NE as their roster isn’t that bad and lacks QB. Falcons would not have to move down that far.

If they were going to rebuild wouldn’t they start with a QB? I know they don’t look like they’re trading Ryan but if they’re rebuilding wouldn’t that be a better move than passing on a QB at 4? Also Detroit, Denver and Minny could be looking at QB and all pick earlier than NE.

That was then, this is now. Miami likely had the Philly trade ready to go. They went from 3 to 6 and knowing SF would go QB, essentially moved down two spots. There are more than 2 instant difference makers so they will get one. Going from 4 to 15 offers Atlanta no such guarantees. Kyle Pitts could really work with Jones and Ridley, they could even be seeking a QB. I could see them willing to pass on WR but 15 forces them

Gilmore is generally a quiet guy and sometimes they aren’t well liked by fans who feel every player needs to have “personality”. You can just take a look at the unfounded crap that gets slung at Tremaine Edmunds as an example. Not saying that is your reason on Gilmore but it was for a lot of people. I don’t like him now though. I disliked Flutie the phony, Dareus toward the end, and Aaron Maybinot which was probably unfair since he didn’t draft himself.

Realistic trade hopes for Hall?: 1st rounder or Legit 3rd line center prospect that could be ready for 21-22 or Legit goalie prospect that might actually play someday. Our current pipe dream Lukkkkkononkkonen or however you spell it has been a “prospect” since Bob Sauve was playing for his middle school team. I can see the writing on that wall. Unrealistic trade hopes: Hall and Skinner for a 5th rounder. Nobody is taking the remaking 6 years of that albatross contract but one can dream.
